Good Entry AK
Receiver is a Cugir on mine. Trigger is a single hook tapco trigger was not available at the time I purchased mine. Don't be shocked if the sights or some other components are rougher they are quick to fix them if they are bad mine had some damage from being a show wall piece clearly suffered for a time. Yet after 3 days of rain steel surplus ammo over 2000 rds and only routine cleaning and maintenance the rifle has performed well. Notably I will say ammo and mags appeared to be issues for two concerns. First if loading brass be very sure the extractor is not tearing the cases I feel it is light load steel ammo at fault though it is mention able. Next most polymer mags will require light sanding or filing to feed easily will work fine but I found shaving just a bit off tapco or pmag ensured error less feeding. Steel Korean Russian Polish and Bakelite mags feed flawlessly no major issues. As with most mags until spring is worn in 28-30 rd loads can be Fiesta to seat. There was a ton of factory grease that glancing may appear to be rust wipes easily will sometimes ooze out of some pressed areas of the gun after 800 rds no problems not an issue for me. Some of the threads had shavings still on them from initial seating of spoon muzzle new fishbone break needed modest clp drop to clear a burr not a concern at this price point. Lastly the gas tube (upper forearm) is Fiesty by nature recommend clp or lubricant along with a solid grip tool for the lever until it is worn internal cleaning kit is not for gas tube removal had few friends falsely attempt to use them for the task. Rifle is capable of 1.5 cooled shot to shot 3 in slight pause shot to shot heat rapidly pushes groups up to 3 and change but no more and again I think it is more the ammo and adjusting us range targets to the metric Russian principles of the standard iron sights. 125yrds strong so far will test further with brass strong loads this winter.
