A micro-compact 9mm pistol made entirely in the USA. Designed with safety in mind, the DB9 features a "ZERO-Energy" striker firing system with a mechanical firing pin block, a steel magazine catch to secure a sheet metal magazine and real windage-adjustable sights, all in a lightweight pistol. A steel trigger with dual connecting bars allows for a crisp, smooth, trigger pull. The DB9 features a FEA (Finite Element Analysis) designed slide and barrel that is stronger than any comparable firearm, resulting in durability with less felt recoil, and the absence of removable pins or tools makes field stripping easier than ever. The slide, barrel, and internal parts are coated to resist corrosion, making this pistol a lifetime investment.

took a chance pleasantly surprised.
If you research this Pistol you find a lot of mixed reviews. PSA offered it at such a good price I figured even if it sucked I'd get my money back out of it. After putting 140 rounds through it Ive started carrying it. I've shot winchester hollow point federal hst and the cheap ppu hollow point rounds but mostly federal champion 115gr fmj and fiocchi 115gr fmj with no malfunction under recoil operation. Now bear in mind this pistol has probably the stiffest recoil spring I've ever seen and if you don't use a violent method of chambering the first round you will have a failure to feed when racking the slide. The recoil on the other hand has no issue with providing a violent method of chambering the next rounds. One of the first things I do with a gun I'm considering carrying is basically mag dumps I feel this will force a failure if its gonna happen. Not one issue other than me not moving my finger far enough foreward on one occasion and the trigger not resetting until i did. I've fired it at ranges of 7 to 20 yards and have been very very surprised at the accuracy and shootability of this little bastard. I made myself a kydex pocket holster and carry it daily.

Certainly bang for the buck
Let me just get this out of the way: ordered 6/26/15 ffl (<90 miles away) received on 7/9/15. PSA!! Please give me the option to do an in-store pickup or free shipping to the Greenville store!! Anyway for the price PSA had on this little BUG it's a winner. The good: not much bigger than my wife's Taurus TCP 380 but a 9mm not as snappy as I expected it to be glock-esque internals including a firing pin safety and it ate over 100 rounds of fmj the first trip to the range with no problems. I intentionally support-side limp-wristed it a few times after the 100 to try and induce failure and was only able to after really getting slack on the grip (failure to feed). The bad: go ahead TRY and find someone with extra mags in stock (only comes with one) +P voids your warranty and they say it wont cycle 147gr reliably (this makes it tough for me to use as a duty BUG as most approved ammo is one or the other) no slide lock (only a big deal if experience a double feed) mag release is crazy tight (I found that pushing the mag in then hitting the release helped with this....if you want to tie two hands up to reload...) long trigger pull (have played with the G42 lately and got spoiled) not too many holster manufacturers yet. One note: maske sure you really sling-shot the slide forward the two times I was lazy with it the round hung up. As far as accuracy i shout a 5 rounds not-too-slow group at the 15 yard in about 3.5" which is well within the parameters for a gun that I consider a "get the heck off me!" weapon. I like the gun and am happy with the purchase; I might report back if I cant find a JHP that feeds reliably.

Best Pocket Pistol
This is the best little pocket pistol on the market. My customers love them. Reliable concealable and simple operation. Holiday pricing is awesome.

Good pocket backup
There are lots of bad reviews on this because of jamming but most once they found the right ammo did not have problems. Realizing that this is a 380 size gun and not meant for target use or practicing and in my opinion only meant for back up when you can't cure your full-size gun. realizing that this is a 380 size gun and not meant for target use or practicing and in my opinion only meant for back up when you can't cure your full-size gun. i've seen others say that the hornady critical defense is great in it. I use some old leftover ball ammo I think it's a federal mill spec and it cycled fine for the few shots that I tried and then I used Remington/UMC 115 grain jacketed hollow points for another clip. No jams. I will carry when i wont carry my shield.
