16'' Hammer Forged 300 AAC Blackout Rifle Kit

Everything you need to turn your stripped lower into a rifle for one low introductory price.  Kit includes a PSA 16" Hammer-Forged, Chrome-Lined, 300 AAC Blackout upper, BCG, charging handle and our Classic Lower Build Kit.

Lower Build Kit:  Includes our M4-style stock, A2 Pistol grip, Palmetto State Armory Classic Lower Parts Kit and Mil-Spec size buffer tube, castle nut, end plate, carbine spring, and PSA Standard buffer.

Barrel:  A proprietary blend of Hammer forged chrome molly vanadium made by FN that is referred to as "Machine Gun Steel" by virtue of its use in FN's M249 and M240 weapons.   The hammer forging process work hardens the steel, making it more durable.  In addition, the chrome process for the bore allows for a lining almost twice as thick as a standard M16 for enhanced durability.  Chambered in 300 AAC Blackout, with a 1/8 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a carbine gas system.   Heavy-style profiled barrel is phosphate coated to mil-specs.  Barrel is High Pressure tested, and Magnetic Particle inspected, to ensure quality and dependability, and is finished off with an F-marked front sight post with sling swivel, and A2 flash hider.

Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is made to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring machined T marks, and a mil-spec finish. These uppers are made for us right here in the USA by a mil-spec manufacturer, and are marked with the Palmetto State Armory logo on the left side, up front, just below the rail.

Bolt: Bolt is made of mil-spec shot-peened Carpenter 158 steel. Gas key is secured with grade 8 fasteners and staked per mil-spec.  M16 style bolt carrier is is parkerized outside, chrome lined inside, and laser engraved with the Palmetto State Armory logo.

Each upper is assembled to order with care, and test fired.  Our 300 blackout barrel is designed to work with quality super and subsonic ammo in unsupressed mode. However, some manufacturer's subsonic ammo may require the backpressure from a supressor to cycle reliably.

Shipping labels are created shortly after orders are placed.  Shipping labels update when the product leaves our facility and are en route to their destination. You will be emailed tracking information when the order leaves our facility, however if you receive one shortly after you place your order and it remains dormant, don’t be alarmed.
