Better Than Usual Review by Bronco

I usually order these from CTD when they're around $6/box. However, they've recently been unable to keep them in stock at that price... and no way I'm paying $11/box for the leftovers. These rounds were also in MUCH better condition than any i've received from CTD. They look brand new... Not covered in dings, dirt, and whatever that black sludge is. Didn't have to spend 30 minutes wiping them all down before dropping them into mags. Fast shipping too. PSA may have made me a convert. (Posted on 4/7/12)

Palmetto beats everyone with their price on government issued 5.56 for the civilian market. WAY better than standard .223 ammo, I've put these rounds through my Bushmaster Carbine with no issues whatsoever. Palmetto pulled through by shipping in a timely manner at an excellent price. And the 5.56 adds that little more zip needed when used in a compatible AR for the critters (both four legged & two) that are ofetn encountered here in SW Texas. This stuff kicks ass. Had my keltec su16 spitting flames out the muzzle. It was a semi dark rainy afternoon. The muzzle flash was incredible. Not only that the flame was accompanied bits flaming detrius as well. Cool! No flash suppressor perhaps this played its part. But shooting that keltec with this ammo added a whole new dimension. Will buy mkre if the price should fall. Right now it is .70 more a box than 2 weeks ago. Bummer. This ammo is the best "bang for the buck".

Good ammo. Cheapest you can pay for 5.56 brass on this site. Glad I bought a 500 rounds back in Feb 2012. Price is .70 more a box. Guess things will be more quiet at the range this weekend. I know when the prices go up I shoot less. (Posted on 3/17/12)
