Add To:

The P-11 is a semi-automatic, locked-breech, DAO, pistol, chambered for the 9mm Luger cartridge. Ten round and optional twelve round magazines available. The Kel-Tec P-11 is compact and lightweight, thanks to its locked breech. Its ergonometry, perceived recoil and practical accuracy are comparable to much larger guns. The P-11 is especially well suited for plain-clothes police officers, security personnel, or as a secondary weapon for military service members.

Good Product for the Price; Reliable and Cost Effective.
I own two Kel-Tecs and in spite of the negativity you often see about them online I have been pleased with mine. I have both the P11 and PF9. My PF9 is my EDC. Both pistols have fired EVERY round I have put through it....brass steel and aluminum cased as well as FMJ and hollow point. I have not had a single failure to fire failure to feed or failure to eject. BOTH pistols have a sharp recoil and you will most definitely feel a bite in your trigger finger after you empty the magazine. They both also have an extremely long trigger pull which is a safety mechanism if your trigger finger discipline is lax. You will need to practice with both to learn your tigger pull but once you figure it out they are very accurate. With both pistols I am able to put an entire magazine into a 4" circle at 10 yards and that is further than I would ever shoot it in self defense. The P11 has the advantage of a heavier weight with a full magazine so the recoil is slightly less however it still bites your finger pretty hard. However this is a high capacity concealed carry pistol so if you have to use it your adrenaline will take over and you will never know. The feel of the P11 is "cheaper" and less solid than the PF9 but I have not had issues with it in spite of my initial misgivings. If you like your pistol to feel rock solid in your hand this pistol will definitely give you some pause but it will eventually win you over if you give it a chance. IMO you cannot beat it in regards to "bang for your buck".
