The AR10 platform does not enjoy a common design between manufacturers, like the AR15.    As a result, there can and will be subtle differences in the parts kits of various manufacturers.  Some parts, like the fire control group, are shared with the AR15 platform to preserve the options for upgrading.  For best results, we recommend only using PSA PA10 parts with our uppers and lower receivers.  We do not recommend using other manufacturers parts in our products.

Is the roll pin threaded?

BEST ANSWER: No. Is a regular roll pin. But if you are buying a PA 10 lower receiver that's the pin you need.

The photo is a little misleading...
I believe the photo shows a AR15 bolt catch.. However, mine was as written, a PSA PA10 .308 / 6.5CM bolt catch

Where others failed to secure the bolt, this one worked!
Had issues with a Non-PSA bolt catch on my PSA Gen II PA-10 lower. Was sent this catch and it worked like a charm! It was slightly longer than the non-PSA bolt catch I got from another company which was not fully engaging the bolt. Highly recommend this bolt catch for your PA-10 Gen II lower!!

Bolt Catches don't catch.
Same as others...no catch. I have two factory built PSA AR-10s... neither bolt catch works. Just for giggles I tried my CMMG MK-3 upper on the PSA lowers. They both catch barely. My guess is that the bolt catches PSA used on my builds are simply out of spec. This is my first negative experience with PSA...I own LOTS of their stuff and am generally very satisfied.

Bolt catch assembly works fine
I had the same problem with the bolt not being fully caught back with an empty mag. Swapped out the buffer and buffer spring and everything works fine. It's another reminder that ALL the parts need to work together for a sucessful build.

Compatibility Issue
Installed this in my PA10 Gen 1 lower and bolted the lower to a PA10 Gen 2 upper with a PA10 bolt. This is an all PSA PA10 build. The bolt catch is barely catching the one tooth of the bolt face. When depressing the bolt catch it appears that the catch does not recess and pivot enough in to the lower. I compared this to my PSA AR15s. On my Ar15s the catch rises approx 10.5 mm and fully engages two teeth of the bolt. In comparison this PA10 catch only rises approx 8 mm when depress and is not engaging the bolt face. It appears that the tang that comes in to contact with the plunger needs to be ground down a bit to permit the catch to recess further in to the lower.

still doesn't work
Purchased this for my PSA PA-10 will not hold the bolt open unless I have an empty mag in the gun. As soon as I take the mag out the bolt goes forward. What's going on? I Have had a certified armorer and a gunsmith inspect the gun and they find nothing wrong. The only help that I get is to send my lower to PSA and wait the ten days to get it back. I can’t do this because this because it is a duty rifle. I am left feeling like I got took!!

This did not work on my Anderson lower
This did not work on my Anderson lower once installed the latch would not work. Had to remove it and buy another.

Edit by PSA - the bolt catch assembly is for a PSA PA10 lower. PA10 parts do not universally interchange like AR15 parts. We do not recommend using PSA PA10 parts on other manufacturers 308s.
