PSA AK47 GB2 Zhukov Rifle
Product Review (submitted on July 22, 2016):
I'm a LEO & full time firearms instructor for a large dept and am familiar with several different weapon systems. I was able to buy one before they sold out in 10 mins when these new GB2's came out. It came in a nice foam lined box inside a box with 1 Pmag. Everything looked great on the outside, rivets, very clear engraving & serial number. The safety & gas tube levers work very smoothly. The dust cover fits perfectly straight & tight. There was no buffer for guys against those, but there was a retaining plate inside the receiver not a shepherds hook. The Zhukov furniture is really nice, allows a good cheek weld and hand forward grip on the handguard. The trigger is ok. Kinda long spongy pull, but not heavy. I like the Tapco G2 better. It has braided trigger springs.
I have shot about 200rds so far. No jams. The bolt works smoothly. I did clean & oil it a twice, since breaking in. (I take care of my guns) it was not zeroed, but using an AK sight tool, it zeroed and shot pretty well. No irregular wear seen, very little on carrier tail or back of bolt. But low rd count. Hopefully the billet will hold up well. Time will tell. Palmetto sweated the details building this rifle though, I'm very happy with it so far, and like the lifetime original owner warranty.
