The Beretta A400 Xcel Shotgun utilizes Beretta’s own A400 action; a proven system that allows the user to make follow up shots 36% faster than any other brand. The A400 action can reliably cycle shells in the 2¾ inch to 3 inch bracket with target loads or the heavy hitting waterfowl shot. The Xcel features an advanced recoil mitigation system in the form of a hydraulic shock absorber that moderates the rearward energy away from the action’s moving parts. This combined with the Micro-Core butt pad can reduce the recoil up to 70% and guarantees minimal muzzle rise. In addition to its advanced action and recoil reduction systems, the Xcel has the durability and reliability that Beretta is known for.
