A good shooter and a great value
After 5 months and a few hundred rounds down the pipe, I'm prepared to talk about this one. The short story is, I'd absolutely buy it again.

It's a ton of fun to shoot, pretty accurate, not much recoil, so I wind up shooting it fairly often. I have no problems recommending it to someone who's interested in carrying a .380.

Positives:

- Good smooth DA/SA trigger. It reminds me of my DA/SA Sigs. Trigger scale showed 9.8 lbs DA/4.7 lbs SA.

- Feeds and ejects reliably. Since I've run mostly hardball, I wouldn't expect anything different. I only use factory magazines, and never try to get 8+1 rounds into it, always just take the first one off the top of magazine. Whatever it is, I haven't had a hiccup out of it.

- Good grips, good heft, good weight. It's not a tiny little pocket .380, but it's still small enough to conceal and big enough to shoot well. Same height and length as a Glock 42, with thicker grips and a bigger capacity.

- Points and shoots very well for a small concealable pistol. You will have absolutely no problem putting it on target and making followup shots at normal combat ranges.

- Unlike the PPK that it copies, the Bersa's beavertail is big enough to prevent slide bite.

- Breaks down easily for cleaning. Just push the takedown lever on the front right, pull the slide all the way back while lifting.
Negatives:

- The decocker/safety lever is a bit stiff. I'd never carry it decocked, but rather DA with one in the pipe.

- Magazines are fairly expensive, and only one comes with it.

- It was a little low and left out of the box. Reading some Bersa forums, this is pretty common, and they advise against using the windage screw without locking it down with blue Loctite.
