Great price on a nice scope
This was the least expensive I have seen this scope so I had to get it. Very clear and easy to sight in. Have had scopes that were more expensive that were difficult to get the reticle in focus but this one is sharp and clear. The adjustable objective lens works pretty good for an approximate range finder too. Just look at your target and focus the objective lens until image is sharp and then look to see what yardage your objective is set on.

bushneall trophy XLT 4-12x40 DOA 600
This is a fabulous scope for the money. Are there better scopes out there sure. But then you are arguably getting into diminishing returns. The glass is plenty clear for low light dawn/dusk situations. It really seems to be solidly constructed. All if my scoped rifles carry a Bushnell on them. One of them being over 30 years old and still going strong. I had the scope in my hand one week after ordering during the Christmas season. So PSA's shipping times are vastly improving!

Adjustment arrows are backwards
Had an interesting day at the range with this scope yesterday. The elevation and windage knobs both have arrows indicating up and left. They are both backwards. Took me a few extra shots and curse words to figure that out. But the scope did adjust consistently. The eye relief is very sensitive. You have to be +/- 1/8" of perfect eye relief distance for the view not to be cloudy. Good luck with that on a variable power optic in a hunting situation. I suppose it's fine for bench rest shooting or hunting from a tower stand but not for multiple positions or while walking around in the woods. You need to be focused on other things then and not thinking about how to get your eye the perfect distance from the scope for a good sight picture. It was a good deal I suppose for 100 bucks. No way I'll be paying full price for a Bushnell scope after this experience on one of their mid-level items.
