As Expected from FNH
Had this one a while now, and it has gone through about 800 rounds to date (no, it is not my primary 9mm). What can I say? It is FNH and it shows.

No function issues whatsoever. Accuracy is better than my accuracy (most of my guns are like that; those that aren't get removed from inventory). Hitting soda cans at about 40 yards is no particular problem so long as I pay attention to what I am doing (again, the gun is more accurate than me by and large), and for more practical stuff, it is hell on wheels. It is child's play to put an entire mag into the 10-ring at 15 yards rapid fire with this gun due to the ergonomics and trigger.

I have the .40 caliber version of this gun as well, and both of them have no issue with any ammo I have tried. This one (9mm) has not yet shown a preference for one particular load/make, though it does suggest it is not particularly fond of super-light rounds (90gr) and low-charge rounds, though it had no functional issue (nor even unacceptable accuracy issues) with them. She seems to do well with anything between 115gr and 147gr. Brass cased, steel cased, +P, target, mil-spec 9mm NATO - doesn't matter. She handles it all.

There is one thing about the FNs that I don't find very appealing, though. That is the magazine retention stud on the front. It had frayed a few mag pouches and irritated a couple of friends I let play with her, but it is hardly a true negative, as it works, it does not cause specific issues and I have experience with other guns using the stud-type mag retention system. Still, not my favorite and I do wish that FN had use the shelf-type (like my SIGs, Glocks, 1911s, CZs, etc, etc, etc).

I got this one on special and if you get the chance to grab this gun, do it. You will not be disappointed.

Irrelevant Note: a pair of these - one in .40 and one in 9mm - is a nice pair to have. Especially as they match the pair of SIGs I have (one in .40, one in 9mm) given me a pair of hammer-fired and pair of striker-fired in duty pistol size.

Buy it while you can
Great price. Smooth shooter. Slide release is a little hard but should smooth out with more usage.

Great weapon!
FN FNS-9 for $359 from PSA is an awesome deal! This is the 2nd one I bought because of the quality and value. The ergonomic of the grip and a smooth trigger make this weapon fun and easy to shoot. There is no doubt on the quality when it comes to FN weapon. I couldn't pass it up when I saw it on PSA for $359, even though I have one already. I paid $499 for my first one, had to search and waited for one to be available. Even at full price this weapon is worth the money for reliability and value.
