There are already a slew of Great .22 LR Pistols on the market. I doubt a 22 Rock would sell.

The TX22 is a GREAT 22 Pistol and now comes in all sorts of variations from Compact to Competition. Great Shooter!

That was what I was thinking - a .22wmr would not require a full-re-engineer of the pistol.

Looks like a magazine change and a smaller barrel chambering and we might be good to go.
Would a double stack mag work reliably with a .22 WMR?

I believe Keltec PMR30 is a double stack.

Just looked at and it has to be to get 30 in there. You donāt see a lot of those or shotgun double stacked. At least I havenāt. Ruger does it with the 10-22 mags but thereās a lot of curve in those.
