i understand that. i would pretty much not want to be in a situation where i couldnt communicate either.

Edgar is an American who believes in our nation and dedicated his life defend and protect it. We all owe our freedom to him and others like him. His son joined the Marines a couple of years ago, and carries on in the fine tradition of his father. We are better for having known him, and he is missed and cared for. 
Trust me not being able communicate anything, you canât speak, write, barley able to move other than move your lips or move your head yes or no. It is extremely frustrating and when you canât do anything for yourself that magnifies the frustration 10 fold. If Edgarâs stroke was as bad as it seemed that it might be I pray that he is no longer with us but in a much better place. I would rather be dead than go through that again. I think most of you can understand my sentiment that I wouldnât wish that on anyone.
GentlemenâŚI really appreciated all your messages. They were a great moral booster for me. Iam going to try to remain active here on the PSA forum. Although I didnât suffer any chronic loss of mobilityâŚjust cognitive degradation. Everyday has its challenges, but I am blessed and Although I am not completely backâŚ.I do live a very active and near normal lifestyleđ.
I really appreciated everyoneâs kind words for me.

I think that I have already expressed how I feel. It is so very good to hear from you. There was so many of us that were in your corner and praying for you daily. Like @Jammo said the Lord is good. He did answer our prayers. Just seeing you post again on the forum is a validation of that fact. We have both been through some of the same potentially life threatening type of medical issues. I really am glad that you are still making progress and that you are getting your life back to normal.
I am not really where I would wish myself to be medically. I have been able to push myself so far beyond what any of my doctors thought that I would be able to do. Everything considered I think that both of us have a lot to be thankful for. Like others have expressed please let me know if there is anything that I can do for you or help you in anyway.
Thank you for checking on me and keeping up with me while I was so sick. Like you said I have felt the power of prayer. I sincerely believe that I am alive today because of prayer and because the Lord isnât finished with me yet. It seems that the Lord isnât finished with you yet either.
I have been able to find more items for my collection. I still have a good bit of stuff to share but I really need to be able to organize my collection a good bit better than I am right now so it is hard to find the needle in the haystack that you are looking for. I look forward to reading any comments from you on stuff that I have posted and will post.

One thing this forum is great at is giving each of us the opportunity to share our problems and life issues with other forum members. In doing so it gives us the opportunity to help and support each other. I really donât know what I would have done witbout the support of my family, friends and so many of you guys on the forum. So many of us have gotten to be close friends and we support each other every day.
