I need a proper place for this…

Not offended at all. Just a different opinion.

Which one would you recommend cross stich or needlepoint?

Time to boogie to the Class VI before the older Veterans get there and take all the good stuff. The elder Veterans have.zero mercy when buying booze :joy:

I have the good booze in the bunker

I get the good stuff and it’s filled into my decanter. The rest is quickly consumed.

I got some mead aging well and that’s what I’m holding out for :+1:t2:

That mead. I’ve tried several different fruits and teas with it. The one that I like and the ones that work well for me is the D47 yeast, Apples and Apple Juice, Mango Butter and Traditional. It’s all custom to my taste and tolerance and it’s based on a very old recipe, at least aged 18 months and 8-10% ABV.

Water, yeast and honey. Based. :metal:t2:

Too bad I never tried any before I got sick.
I really think I would have enjoyed the whole process :beers:
@Yota-walker

Pears also work well in mead.

How much honey do you add per gallon?
You should be getting a higher ABV than 8-10.
D47 yeast survives to 15%.

3 pounds per gallon. I do get more ABV with D47. For me 8-10 ABV is my preference.

Pears don’t do it for me. It comes out dry. I’ve tried Blueberries and Strawberries too. All came out dry.

Dry just means all the sugars were used during fermentation. Some fruits simply have more natural sugars than others. I will sometimes add 1/2# per gallon of honey to my mead when I rack it if it gets too dry. You just have to watch, because it can restart the fermentation process.
I did this with the pear and it finished great.

Yeah I learned that through experience.

More useless thoughts. If another American Revolution occurred, how many people with certain skillsets (Military, Law Enforcement and Intelligence Communities) would go after the government Sergeant Hugo Stiglitz style?
It’s a rhetorical question.

The American citizenry doesn’t deserve oppression.

It’s ashamed we have such crappy political leaders.

The stated question is foolish.

BUT

Why does it feel like there is more pressure on the American Citizenry?

My question is: Why would the US Government apply such pressure on its Citizenry? For what reason or purpose?

Again another rhetorical question.

Surely the Government knows this will provoke a movement. More than likely a Christian Militant Movement. The next holy war. It won’t be about race either cause we’ll all be mixed :joy:

More foolishness…From what I know my ancestors got here in the mid 1700’s in the Carolinas and Georgia colonies right in time for the American Revolution. They served and went about their lives.
Fast forward to today if I was an immigrant (illegal or legal) I would make an effort to the Estados Unidos.

We know the Government isn’t capable or has the will to deport. Until these people prove otherwise give them a chance.

Fast forward to the Civil War my ancestors served in the Confederacy-Alabama and Mississippi infantry. Afterwards they got busy living and worked laying track on the railroad out west.

Fast forward to War 1 served in the Infantry volunteering as machine gunners like idiots. Afterwards went home to squalor to become bootleggers :fire:

Because the country preached and lectured about vice…to returning Service members :joy:

Fast forward War 2 served in the shipyards and volunteered underage for the merchant marines for the Atlantic.

Death wish anyone? :joy:

More adventures in the Merchant Marines serving the Korean War and the beginning of the Vietnam War.

During the Vietnam War, Father and his brother like dummies served in mortars (Dad in the USMC and his Brother in the US Army) Basically riflemen, point man looking to get shot. :joy:

And then here we are with the Global War on Terrorism idiot who thought it was a great idea to stick around for 26 years (1988-2014) just to see what will happen next. Big Army did not disappoint. Loved every minute of it. I hope my ancestors got a good laugh.

There are others in my bloodline that are still serving and it’s their story to tell….
