Some camo work on the furniture

@Rufus I’m right handed , I do like the under folder. But I ended up with the gf3-e it’s my first ak purchase but I’m sure not my last. Under folder or gf5 with the shark fin like the give away are probably next in line! Idk why I love the wood and shark fin! Now just have to “patiently” wait for them to get around to shipping it. I’m sure I’ll love it. Have a new safe with plenty of space, so I’ve got a bright future with all these new toys comin out

SFs predominately fold left and it just seems to me it would get in the way folded.

Guess I’ll have to see how I like it when it comes in… I’m not super familiar with the platform… but can’t I change furniture and the folding mechanism? For a regular stock if preferred? Does that puzzle piece I’ve seen fit all psaks? I’ll most definitely be on here for more knowledge in the near future

I’ll defer to those with more horsepower than myself here. I’m pretty sure somebody came up with (designed/made) an adapter to make an SF with the Voodoo furniture.

@Rufus

Regarding the AK picture in the Christmas giveaway thread with the A2 flash hider. I thought that was interesting and I had just found that pic after this post above with the same setup. I’ve never seen it before, then seen it twice within a few days all of the sudden. Kinda looks good, but kinda like sticking a Chevy motor in a Ford :rofl: … I think I like the look, but I’m not sure if it will anger the gods?? What do you think?q

Edit:
For anyone that missed the pic on the Christmas giveaway thread and wondering what I’m talking about.

Blem GF3 “imitation bakelite” My first AK. Aint she a beaut Clark. Ammo got here as well. So much to learn, already have questions lol you’ll be hearing from me :flushed: my slant brake wiggles slightly, is this normal? **Note I can depress pin and tighten a full turn and stops perfectly at the pin to lock in.

Good lord she’s beautiful.

The brake is fine. It wiggles a little with the pin style retainer. If you can go one more turn and the pin makes it, then feel free to give it that extra spin. Either way is fine.

I don’t like my GF3 furniture but thats what it had on the combo deal I got. I want Redwood or that imitation Bakelite. Man yours looks nice. I love people’s natural pictures compared to the ones in the ad. It really brings out the colors and features better.

Congrats! Run it hard and dont clean it, it’s an AK :rofl:

Over the Christmas Holidays, I was visiting with my best friend. We both served and Retired from the US Army’s Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, NC.
I brought along two of my favorites : PSA-KS-47 & PSA- AK104 along with 500 rounds of ammo.

We had a great time reminiscing of old times when we were much more deadly than we are today. Nowadays we are content with the good Lord giving us another day on this earth. He has never handled a KS-47 so this was a treat for him. We had a wonderful time.

When I returned home I noticed that the “Arm-Brace” on my AK seemed a little loose. I couldn’t understand why it was just slightly looser than before……until the latch fell out of the rear of the receiver.

I love PSA and I know they would have taken care of it, but I really love this pair of firearms and I didn’t want to be separated from either of them.

Below are a couple of videos demonstrating the ease of replacing the Folding “Stock/Brace” Latch.
