That’s basically how it goes, actually.
As a kid, did you have names for the different Lego blocks? As adults, we do have names for some of these functional accessories to our freedom toys, but really, it’s just mixing and matching sometimes, and occasionally there isn’t a real reason for it.
It is one reason I’m such a fan of the AR platform.
and waaay more fun
The rifle started its life quite different, but I love how it ended up. Both upper and lower are PSA. The scope is a Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10, and I can’t say enough good about it. I honestly don’t think you can get a better scope for the price. Hand guard is just utg, but it’s just the right size for my hand and way more sturdy than I expected. It’s had a decent amount of abuse and held up better than I expected.
The pistol I actually sold. I was slowly buying parts to build it for myself, but a friend who was having a hard time finding anything last summer made me an offer I couldn’t refuse so I helped him put it together.
Nice!! a proper caliber for a short barrel!!
how does this compare to say the vortex strike eagle?
thanks
@GamecockOperator from what I have seen they are very similar, made in comparable facilities.
I haven’t looked at the newer generation vortex, but what I’ve seen of the first, the arrowhead to my eye is much clearer and brighter. Scopes are typically subjective, and in no way am I hating on vortex (really like their 1x prism), but I’ve looked at a buddy’s Strike eagle right next to mine, and we both liked the arrowhead more. The tomahawk lpvo from sf is at about the same price point as the strike eagle and seems very comparable to me (I’ve got a tomahawk on my 10/22).
exellent… how much alike are they in price?
Comparable, although PA and Vortex don’t have a 1-10 yet, except Vortex does in their Razor line.
The only meme lower I have.
For anyone wondering: 26.25 inches from stem to stern minus the muzzle device and brace.
nice looking yeet cannon there @tony
love the detail in your kit!! well done!!

Thank you Sir.
Dope muzzle device, whwred u get that?
That is Strike Industries Cookie Cutter brake.
Thanks, shit looks siiiiick…
It does everything Strike claims it does
Everything came from PSA
You have a very nice setup there.
