PSA AR15 jamming

Those gauges/dents are indicative that the brass is not properly aligned with the feed lips of the barrel extesion or the lower. Separate the upper and lower, remove the bolt carrier and inspect the feed area in a good light. Look for misaligned parts or brass shavings. Inspect the bolt face and lugs for unusual wear.

Thanks. I will check all of those components you mentioned.

Look at this guy over here, bragging about having actual Sriracha! I can’t seem to get ahold of any without having my burnout neighbor call his jittery friend who knows some people.

I stocked up for the wife months ago

I got cases of free Sriracha from a going-out-of-business sale at a Target! I had to run very fast, for some reason. Or no reason. Yeah. No reason. That’s the ticket!

" Target said Tuesday that it will close nine stores in major cities across the country, citing violence, theft and organized retail crime.
“The stores Target plans to close will shut their doors on October 21. The stores include the East Harlem location in **New York City, two locations in Seattle, three locations in Portland, and three locations in San Francisco and Oakland.”

Seriously, though, I don’t have any kind of Sriracha. I use Hoppe’s and some red grease.

Let’s just be glad our firearms don’t need anything more exotic to run, like ectoplasm, or horseshoe crab blood. Like, who keeps tufts of wendigo fur lying around?

Texas Pete>Sriracha. …………….ducking for cover

I like Texas Pete.

Texas Pete actually makes a version of sriracha. It’s Pretty good.

i put that Sheet on everything…

You gun guys sure get distracted by food!

My big gut is living proof.

@ChrisFortMill , I took my PSA AR15 to the range for the first time a couple of weeks ago and had the exact same problem with jamming that you described. I saw the same dimple on my ammo as well. Were you able to resolve your problem by adding oiling more heavily and running wet as others had suggested? Or did you need to take any other steps? Thanks!

Welcome to the PSA forums @cdottavio

thanks! hoping to get my rifle running properly :slightly_smiling_face:

Are these full rifles yall have purchased or are they builds/semi builds?

Any mods to them?

is it a psa BCG?

also…… no matter where the firearm comes from, day one before you ever shoot it even if you can tell it was test fired, clean it heavily with clp… break it down (field strip), soak it, wipe it, put it together… test first round… that is out of box,. Never literally out of box because there is shelf life to consider and not every product is prepared the same way
