Store price matched but charged full price

Hello all,

I bought a gun “on sale” and had the guy at the firearm counter check the SKU matching online sale.
He checked it and wrote the updated price ($150 less) to the lower amount.
Did some shopping while waiting for the background check processed.
After 45+ minutes got the heads up the gun was waiting at the checkout area.
Chatted with the clerk as he scanned all the items.
He gave me the total and it seemed high but my wife grabbed a bunch of items I didn’t see the price of.

Hours later I checked the receipt due to the shirt I bought being too small.

Check the gun’s price; $649.99 instead of $499.99

Bought the gun on 11/20/23, psa closed on Thursday and closed by the time I got off of work on Wednesday, they were closed early.

After all that, got to the Charleston PSA today 10/24/23 and they “couldn’t refund me the difference” despite the gun still being on sale.

$150 plus tax is a large chunk of change. I’m hoping someone here can help me out/point me in the right direction to get this resolved in a meaningful way.

I don’t want this ridiculous situation to ruin my view of PSA, but I’m not sure what to do since the store manager refused since it wasn’t within 24 hours of sale, which is BS.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,

For anyone following or runs into the same situation; it took awhile, but they made it right with a difference refund or a bigger gift card.

I am happy with the results and that they made this situation right.

Thanks @sean.psa for leading this effort!
I really appreciate it sir.
