welcome to the forums @daultonbenjamin glad to have you.
Is is there going to be a GF5 pistol coming out anytime soon
The 104 GF5 will be comimg out soon. ALG trigger and FN CHF barrel.
Hmm that might be worth it I think the 104 barrel is a couple inches longer than the pistol right? Wish we got an estimated date for stuff so it was easier to plan blowing our money lol
12.5" barrel. The AK-P is 10.5".
Wonder how soon it will be until they hit the shelves
Later this fall/end of the year is what i understand.

Is there any word on a AKS74u clone?
Also if this is not in the works…
-RPK(7.62X39&5.45X39).
-ComBloc DMR/sniper like a psl or dragunov
-Kochevnik Zenitco AK Bullpup
I know one thing for sure the AKS74u would be potentially your biggest hit with AKs so far. Such a legendary gun that so many want.
nah, the 107 is 5.45 but has the ‘balanced recoil’ system (basically a second piston and counterweight in front of the gas port) that functions to counteract the recoil impulse and combined with the relative low power of 5.45x39 effectively mitigates both felt recoil and muzzle climb.
I’d like to buy an AK74, but later on down the line if PSA starts to use chrome lined barrels can I send it back to have it rebarreled for free or discounted?
They currently dont offer that service. IMO chrome line is a little overrated. Most folks wont shoot their guns enough to get the benefits of longevity with a chrome lined barrel.
PSA’s current CHF barrels are chrome lined iirc.
@brodbarnes5 welcome to the forums sir! enjoy your stay!!!
How does the recent ATF ruling on pistol braces affect PSA products? I noticed most of the AK’s with braces are sold out, will they now be classified as SBR’s?
No one knows what the outcome will be other than at least one lawsuit has already been filed. Expect PSA along with other manufacturers to remove any braced lowers, pistols, etc. They do not want to be put in the situation where an order has been placed and shipped, but not transferred to the owner. This creates major legal hurdles.
Hello every one im new to this i bought a voodoo ak74 and the first shots prone standing and leaning i noticed the groupings are 5 inches from the center of the target i put 160 rounds and each pullet had the same effect im curious if the barrel is bent as my front sites are not camberd or nocked and maybe their are burs please dirrect me to someone who can help me i would really like to be able to reach out far with the platform but i dont see it possible with it holding so far left at just 25yrds. Welcome to the forums @modahed glad to have you.
Also @sawahito97 welcome to the forums as well. we’re glad to have you as well!!
Customer Service is not on the forums. You will have to call them.
So ake vs gf5 only difference is the coatings on the bolt? Can u post info on the ak-556 trigger options. I got that the ALG can’t drop in. What interferes with it and can I’d be modified to work ? Can any after market trigger work ? One reviewer stated the mag well adapter was the issue.
Howdy
All,
New to the forum and trying to figure out how to make a new post. Could not figure it out, so I’ll post my question here
?
I would love to see PSA offer/sell a “GF5-E BARREL ASSEMBLY / Side Folder” chambered in 5.45x39mm with a 1/2”x28 barrel thread pitch. And or a full assembled triangle folding rifle in that configuration for that matter. I vote for Nutmeg furniture with a shark-fin please! ![]()
I really like the look of the GF5-E BARREL ASSEMBLY. Part number 51655114419. With the front sight integrated with the gas block. If that was chambered in 5.45x39mm and Side-Folder it would be perfect!
Does anyone know if PSA has offered anything like that in the past or perhaps in the future?
I find it a bit hard and time consuming to find what I’ll looking for with searches on the PSA store. You search for a model or ammo caliber and other calibers show up in the search. Search for AK’s and end up looking at AR’s. Search for 5.45 and find rifles in 7.62. Search for something else and find what I’m looking for! Lol ![]()

Thanks for the help.
And yes, how do I start a thread on this forum?
