I bought the 16" version and it’s really impressive. Crazy tight out of the box, but I lubed it heavily and hand cycled a ton with snaps. Actually wore out my snaps now with three Rock break ins and the AR57. Lips are chewed up completely from the extractors.
I didn’t get the 12 bc I don’t have a pistol lower and I refuse to go thru the stamp process and have to kiss the ring to transport anywhere other than SC.

dont listen to these guys. what you need to do is buy a 5 pack of lowers. as low as about 30 bucks up to the 50 dollar ones that have 3 selector positions. sure only 2 are active but they are cool.
with 5 lowers at the ready THATS when you can really shop for success.
THATS when these guys will really shine with suggestions for uppers and parts ,
from PSA of course.
well of course in that scenario you would get good feedback… id suggest to get 5 classic uppers with carry handles

Although it won’t fit on your upper it’ll still be functional. I shot one @ The Gathering last year and loved it, may or may not have one on the way.

Shot it at The Gathering last year and it’s been on my list since then. I was an AK guy before getting a PSA AR.

PSA sells a 762x39 upper for an AR. after so fortunately appropriating my full auto i basically went crazy for uppers.

@Rufus , I got the 12in I’m just going to pin and weld a 4in comp on it. And if hell frezzes over and I can change it over to a short barreled riffle with no hoops I will. Just got it today.

Now that PSA is selling the complete SBA3 lowers again, I’m thinking of slapping together a pistol myself. I said earlier I don’t like 5.56 in a shorty and that’s still true, but maybe mate one with one of those Bear Creek 300blk side-chargers? Subsonics through a 7.5" barrel with handstop, light on a pressure switch, Holosun 512?
Dammit. I said no more guns this year.

the AKv’s are especially fun if youve upgraded the trigger to the ALG trigger… it makes a huge difference and is a lot of fun!
there is a nationwide injunction on the braces, so they’re legal again so to speak.
i love my 300blk 10.5 upper. its awesome and runs great. i’d recommend a small pistol in 300 you wont regret it.

i have a lightweight 8” blackout, i do love it, took me a while to find one that wasn’t “heavy barrel” i still use it for 110gr vmax. however i got it before my 8” PCC, now i have a bucket of xtp
