Not a pet, or even mine, but I was working in SE Kansas five years ago driving down a dirt road and saw this black flash out of the corner of my eye. I slowed down, looked, and that calf that had just dropped stood right up next to mama. Checked out the job site down the road for about an hour and there they were laying down in the same exact spot on my way out.
