My first handgun
I bought a CW40 in Oct 2012 as my first CC.

Admittedly I do not have much to compare it to it has been a great and reliable piece.

Fantastic CCW pistol
I have had fantastic experiences with Kahr pistols and this model is no exception. The CW40 is a great lower cost option to the Kahr line and I have had ZERO issue with this pistol since owning it. The other commenters make this a great used pitol to own as stated in one of the other reviews you need to run 200rds of FMJ ammo through this pistol to break it in (and apparently no one reads the owners manual)...... after that it runs anything you put through it. I carry it in a don-hume holster and with its light weight you don't even know it's there. Accuracy is not on par with the "K" series but it will still do 3" at 25yds without a problem.

I'm always in the market for a used Kahr that has "issues" because it is due to not following the break-in procedure or improper shooting technique (hence dropping the mag when shooting). Not trying to bash any other reviewers but this has been my experience with these pistols. FWIW I own a K9 P9 and CW40 and would trust any of them with my life.

Same issues as Joe. I don't blame PSA
I had the exact same issues as Joe these pistols are JUNK!!! The 1 I received wouldn't cycle self defense ammo it to would not feed an the magazine would fall out. I called Kahr the guy I spoke to kept telling me how goo Kahr's quality control was he told me to run 150 to 200 rounds of FMJ ammo then try SD ammo. Well I loadd the mag with FMJ an ever other shot the magazine would just drop out. It's certainly not PSA's fault these pistols are POS.. I traded this Kahr an a Kel Tech P-11 POS pistol for a .30 cal suppressor. The dealer I did the trade with gave me $150 for the Kahr I was just happy to get rid of it. I too will never buy anything made by Kahr.
