Features
The Scallion is one of Kershaw’s most popular knives. However, this model of the Scallion is a step above the rest. This particular Scallion has new and improved features, including the blade and handles. This oh-so-handy 2 1/4-inch blade is the perfect size for lightweight and convenient carry in pocket, purse, or backpack.
The blade is made from high-carbon stainless steel, meaning that this blade has amazing edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance. Kershaw decided to stonewash the blade to give it a soft, matte look that is easy to maintain and doesn’t show scratches.
It doesn't matter whether you're left-handed or right-handed, the Scallion is quick and easy to open thanks to its SpeedSafe assisted opening and ambidextrous flipper. Just simply pull back on the flipper and the blade moves out of the handle and is ready for use. For safety, the Scallion has a locking liner to keep it locked safely open and a Tip-Lock to keep it locked safely closed during transport.
The Scallion’s handle scales are anodized aluminum over steel liners. The anodizing enables the aluminum to take that matte black and keep them resistant to scratching. Better yet, the anodizing process actually strengthens the aluminum so you get a handle that's strong and lightweight.
If you've been waiting for an aluminum black Scallion, this is the ticket.
