All of the features are the same as the classic Mossberg 500: Dual extractors, positive steel-to-steel lockup, twin action bars, anti-jam elevator ensure smooth operation, and a top mounted safety for ambidextrous operation. However, the 500 Tactical is a compact 6-shot pistol grip tactical shotgun with synthetic black stock and blued finish barrel.
