Will a supressor fit with this setup? Looks tight.
Curions on Jul 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The muzzle device has a circumference of 4 inches with about 1-2 mm clearance inside the hand guard. Should fit as long as your suppressor doesn't have too much girth. Seems like there's a joke here maybe.
Need proof that PSA listens to their customers? Another gentleman asked for this YESTERDAY, and today it's deal of the day. You guys are awesome...

What is the length from the end of the upper/start of the barrel to the end of the Flash hider?
Mike M on Sep 7, 2018
So with this kitthe only thing you would need is the lower receiver correct?
Keyguy707 on Jul 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes a stripped or 80% lower - and sights or an optic, and a magazine.
What is the overall length of the upper for this pistol kit?
Odie1kenobi on Sep 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: says 21'' in the description
would this be considered a sbr?
chris w on Dec 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, this is a pistol kit because of the brace. As long as you put it on a stripped or pistol lower, it will not be considered an SBR.
Can you replace the flash can with a flash suppressor or is the hand guard too long?
Sean M on Oct 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The hand guard would completely cover the flash suppressor if you removed the flash can and installed a flash suppressor.
How is this handguard compared to the one with the rail across the top?
Triggerman on Jul 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I had this hand-guard on a rifle I built a while back and actually prefer it over the other styles, for the fact that it is so much easier to grip/get your hand around, and at that it still has the rail section for a flip up sight up front which is a plus. I haven't compared weights, but I'm sure its probably lighter without a full rail as well
What is the difference between the sku# ending in 5448807 VS.

PSA 10.5" Carbine-Length 5.56 NATO 1/7 Nitride 12" Slant M-Lok MOE EPT SBA3 Pistol Kit - 5165448877

How do you attach a sling to the SBA3 pistol brace ?
Larry C on Dec 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It has a QD mount in the arm brace.
This is considered a pistol?
CELL89 on Dec 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: according to the ATF it is. that's an arm brace not a buttstock at the back of the pistol
What lower goes with this kit?
Arthur on Dec 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You can use any new AR lower. I used I Spikes fit great. You can not take a lower off a rifle that came complete as it is registered as a rifle not a pistol. Use any new lower and it will be fine.
Has anyone had issues mounting this upper on a lower? I can't get the takedown pins though. help please?
Dillon on Dec 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Another kit that I purchased had this issue on the rear takedown pin.

Make sure your bolt is not hitting the top of the lower receiver.

Make sure there is no debris on your takedown pins or in the upper receiver holes. Oil your takedown pins well and lightly tap with a rubber mallet. It will loosen up over time and with a little use.

Marco on Dec 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: They may be out for a while. Us buyers went hog wild. If you are a member at the AKFiles forum there is a forum dedicated to PSA. One of their people pops in and answers questions. I have a question about not being able to sign up for email notifications.
What’s the difference between this kit and kit #5 165448877?
Kieth on Nov 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It looks like the only difference is the foregrip/rail, this kit only has rail at very front top and towards the back. The other one mentioned has rail space all along the top of the foregrip.
How accurate is this?
Jeff T on Jul 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I bought this exact kit, was able to get quarter sized groups at 35 yards with the cheapest ammo I could find. Probably about 3MOA.
Is the barrel chrome lined? Do you guys use FN barrels / if not what barrels do you use?
Robert P on Jan 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Description says No.
Have we pistol kits been head spaced?
Robert M on Dec 12, 2018

Such a great pistol kit I built twins!
I like this kit so much I bought and built another one! Great truck gun. As always the price to value ratio is absolutely impossible to beat! I love the hand-guard design.

It’s ok
Bolt and entire upper had some sticky greasy gunk on it at first that would not come off using any solvents. I had to get the entire thing hot and scrub it at the range. Finish on the BCG is rough as well.

Gas block was installed canted which caused gasses to leak out and got carbon all over the gas tube and inside of the hand guard as well as my hand while shooting.

Other than that, it’s decent. Not too accurate, but not terrible either. I got this on sale for $399 which was a good deal. At full price it would be a no go.

Overall extremely happy with the quality and craftsmanship of this package. Everything functions great right out of the box no modifications needed on anything. It's really hard to justify going any other way if you're looking at a pistol build.

Another fine AR kit.
Granted, it's not built with top of the line parts, but who really needs an AR north of $1500 anyway?
For the price you simply cannot beat these AR kits from PSA.

This is my third build - two AR pistols and one regular AR - and all have been great. I have only put about 400 rounds through each, but I have had no issues with any of them, all the parts have fit well, and they shoot really well.

I have used $60 Anderson lowers with all three, with fitting no issues.

They are perfect to plink with, and really easy to put together with rudimentary knowledge, or via the myriad step-by-step videos on YouTube, etc.

Great pistol for first build
Very tight tolerance and clean look. Shoots well and I have had zero malfunctions in a few hundred rounds. Waiting for this kit to come back so I can get my dad one. Happy as a camper with this pistol!

Little beast mode!
Purchased this for a budget build not expecting anything special. Paired it with an aero lower and boy what a sweet looking at pistol it turned out to be. Turns heads at the range all day. Threw a CMC single stage purchased on sale from PSA and now it's a different animal. I would definitely and have already recommended to friends. You will not regret it!
