Pretty well built
Great little piece. I would give it 5 stars, but 2 of the screws for the handguard immediately stripped and I was unable to get replacements from 2a armament or PSA. I had to go to hardware store and get my own replacements as well as use a tool to pull the stripped screws.

You need to take off the handguard to replace the flashhider.
I've only ran about 500-1k rounds through it but I've had no problems. I've ran tons of different ammo with no problems yet. I haven't even cleaned it yet. Suppresses quite nicely, but be careful because its hard to get a can on the barrel with the length of the handguards. Direct thread is kinda okay, but I don't see it working with any suppressors which require a QD or flashhider mounted type of mount. You would need to shave down the handguards or replace them.
Pretty accurate for the length of the barrel and the shockwave blade is more comfortable than I thought it'd be.

TLDR: Nicely built minus the handguard screws, direc thread cans okay, other mounts not without modification, no issues with ~1k rounds.

Only shot 120 rounds through it so far. I like it. Accurate at 75 yards. I put a Sig Saur red dot sight on. Very little recoil I did not notice the difference from the AR-15. Hand guard gets warm but not hot. Only issue is with the butt of the gun, it’s not real comfortable. The way I held it, it dug in and caused some soreness and bruising. Ill have to use some padding or my vest. Otherwise I’m very happy with the purchase.

Response from Palmetto State Armory
Thank you for rating and commenting on our product. I apologize for the discomfort caused by the pistol brace on your AR Pistol. For legality, the brace is not intended to be positioned to your shoulder. Unless you have an SBR tax stamp for your Pistol, I would highly advise you to refer to the ATF guidelines prior to altering your pistol brace. I have included a link below for you that may be of some help.

Bang for Buck Choice
Only .3 oz heavier than the lightest .300 Blackout Pistol I've found so far on the market, but 3/4 cheaper. Bang for Buck value High on this purchase.

Came with a 5.56 magazine, that didn't match picture, I gave it away to someone with a 5.56. Hence the 4 stars, have to buy my own 300 magazine, but it should have come with one instead of being lazy and throwing in a 5.56 instead of 300--even if it was a junk pmag one with the rattle, at least it would be a 300.

A little hard to get to the muzzle brake to remove, but that's ok.

Trigger is nice, might just keep it.

Buffer tube sleeve (Shockwave) is a little sharp on the back end, but plan on fixing that with a little d3o or something similar. Also, it is cracked, obviously lower quality. Not sure if I trust putting a sling on because of this.

Love the storage in the grip.

Charging handle acceptable, but I'll probably replace it.

Response from Palmetto State Armory
Since the .300 Blackout utilizes a modified .223 Remington shell casing, a 5.56NATO magazine will accept and properly feed the .300 Blackout cartridge.

Awesome piustol
Shipped and received quickly. I mounted a Sig Romeo 5x Red Dot. This is probably my favorite weapon to shoot now! It is very lighweight and accurate with the new 190 gr Hornandy Subsonic bullets.I highly recommend PSA and this weapon in particular. I also bought a 224 Valkyrie upper from PSA but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

I purchased one of these 7/2/18 and it was delivered 7/13/18. Looked great but I noticed that the BCG was very hard to pull out of battery, actually being very tight. But this isn't my first gun so I thought it might perform OK during firing. I got a chance to fire it yesterday, 7/26/18, and the first 4 rounds went great. After that, I had to charge every round, then on the tenth round it jammed in battery so hard that I had to use the handle of a rubber handled hammer to drive it out while holding the charging handle catch. Just to try it, I replaced the BCG with a nickel boron one from a PSA competitor. It performed perfectly for the next 30 rounds when I stopped for the day. I now have a PSA BCG that may be defective and have used a nickel boron BCG that I was saving for a gift for my son. The upside, the gun now performs flawlessly.
