will tje stock on this comply with the law?

BEST ANSWER: Which law are you referring to ?
Does it have a last round bolt hold open?

BEST ANSWER: Yes it does
Will the 9mm Tavor magazines work with this lower?
jim p on Nov 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, because the Tavor and X95 9mm use colt style magazines.
I have a PSA 9MM upper and a PSA classic ar15 lower with magwell adapter to fit the colt style mags. With the adapter I get a lot of play in the magazine from front to back, therefore I have a lot of ftf and fte issues. Will I see this with the dedicated colt 9mm lower?
Jerry S on Sep 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I purchased the Colt style lower and PSA 9 upper from PSA and have no issues now, but there was a break in period of 100rds or so where I had ftf about every 5th or 6th round. As of now 600-700 rds and no ftf. You can also speed up the process by leaving out the magazine and manually charge the bolt repetitively cpl hundred times.
Do these only work with colt style magazines or can they take anything else?
Tyler on Nov 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Only colt style mags. If colt mags are what you want to run you’d be hard pressed to find a better option for the $ even QC10.
will this work with a non PSA upper assembly?
Lyle H on Feb 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It really depends on which type of upper assembly do you have. I have a Colt style slickside upper with the 9mm shell reflector and a CMMG 9mm ramped carrier. It works fine after a modification to the PSA shell ejector. I had to bend the PSA shell ejector because it wasn’t hitting the shell causing failure to eject. This has been a known problem with PSA 9mm Colt lowers, but it’s a simple fix. I say if your dedicated 9mm upper is made to the Colt 6951 specs, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. You might just need to modify the shell ejector.
Will this be classified as a rifle lower or weapon lower? I'd like to have the option to do a pistol build with it later.
Christos M on Feb 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: It will be sent as other. Have your ffl register it as pistol or other and not rifle?
What 16" classic type upper do you suggest with this lower that also runs the Colt style mags?
Kevin S on Jul 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would go with the CMMG 9mm complete upper assy. You will never have any troubles
Who makes the last round bolt hold open on this lower? Is it a Colt brand specific?
Thomas W on May 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This is a question for PSA.
Any chance of getting this lower with the SBA3 adjustable brace? I see they have a lower that uses Glock mags, but I don't want to use Glock mags. Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Contact PSA customer service for the answer to this question.
does this come with buffer and buffer spring?
Jeff S on Apr 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, did you read the description ?
Can this lower be used with 45acp upper? Im new to pistol calibers and was wanting to know if this 9mm lower would work also with a 45acp upper.
Shane M on Jun 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, unless the 45 mags you intend to use fit the Colt 9mm magwell.
Is this lower registered as a rifle or just a lower receiver?

Nice
Didnt have the issues that others have had. Built mine in the classic m4 style. Cycled ammo reliably right out of the box. Bought two metalform 32 round mags and have had no real issue yet. Only minor complaint is that when loaded you have to bump the mag at the bottom to get it to catch. But for less than 500 bucks all together , I'll let that slide. Glad i didn't fork out 1000 bucks for the colt.

Two issues right away. Feed ramp and bolt catch.
I just received this PSA Colt style lower and a PSA hybrid upper for a customer's build. Unfortunately I immediately see two issues. One is the feed ramp sits so high it hits the BCA. You can't get the upper on without a lot of pressure. Then the bolt is stuck. The second issue is the bolt catch. This one came with a standard AR15 bolt catch instead of the 9mm version with the long arm for the last round bolt hold open. The tech who assembled this one was not paying attention. I will call PSA but I am not holding my breath. I tried calling them and sent two emails starting 7 days ago for a separate customer support issue but have not received a response yet. My customer will not want to wait long so I will likely end up using an original Colt 9mm bolt catch and just rework the feed ramp in house.

A Price That simply Can not be beat!!
The quality is fantastic. It is what makes PSA my favorite place for parts. One thing about this item you must be aware of and take precaution, is that it is shipped with a standard buffer, which will make your 9mm BCG travel further back that normal. This can break your bolt catch. You can add five quarters to the buffer tube or purchase a dedicated 9mm buffer. Happy and safe shooting. Doug - Florida

Outstanding and would like to end up with another!
Was not aware these were back in stock. Once I realized, I jumped on it. I have gen 3 AR9s from PSA and as the reviews mentioned, I did have to do some machining on the feed ramp to clear the older hybrid bolt. I did have some pretty bad failures to eject, but quickly found the ejector rail needed to be “tuned” and turned to the right side a little. Still clearing the bolt. Once I did that, it was eating everything non stop and last round bolt hold open functioned flawless every mag.

Only issue seems to be when I charge the system with the bolt closed and magazine in, the mag allows two rounds to pop up. This was mag related and was with ASC and CPD mags. The both performs flawless otherwise after the ejector tuning.

Yup... Bought one...
Never really had an interest in in 9mm AR, but I though if these lowers ever came back in stock and were reasonably priced, I might pick one up. Well, damn you PSA! Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. Like others reported, I did have to file down the top and the sides of the feed ramps slightly in order for the lower to properly fit with my upper(another brand). I recommend using a file, taking your time, and making many test fits as you go. Mags lock up, and release very well. Trigger is pretty good right out of the box too. If you're not afraid to do a little tinkering, this is the lower for you.

Feed ramp issue
Had an issue with the feed ramp. It was too tall and would hit the bottom of the bolt carrier group when trying to assemble the upper to the lower. The feed ramp stuck up over the top of the mag by about a 1/8" I just took a grinder to the tops of the sides of the feed ramp. Cycles fine now. I also used the G4-9 bolt carrier group.

Works Great With a Little Tinkering
I just picked up my PA-9 lower from the dealer. When I unboxed it the mag wouldn`t lock up. This is without an upper on it. I got to looking and the feed ramp was on backwards. So I took the pivot pin out knocked the feed ramp pin out just enough so I could take the feed ramp out and turned it around. Put everything back and the mag slid right into place. The lrbho arm was too long and kept hitting rounds in the mag. I got my dremil tool out and ground down the arm so it wouldn't hit the ammo in the mag. I put my upper on it and I put 6 round in the mag. Took it outside and tested it. It shot and ejected every round. I have waiting a longtime for this lower and now I Have it and it works. Thanks PSA for your great products.

Some Good, Some Bad.
Nice looking lower. Ordered this and a single PSA mag for testing. I ended up mating it to a Foxtrot-Mike 16" side charging Colt upper, due to PSA's inability to keep their 16" uppers in stock. I had problems right from the get go with ejection and feeding. Required tuning of the ejector and modification of the feed ramp and barrel mouth. The feed ramp sits far to high in this lower. PSA was of no help, but did respond to my emails after about 24-48 hours. After modifying the feed ramp to allow proper bolt travel I found the weapon functioned with no other issues. I have since modified the lower to accept Sterling SMG mags and have not looked back. It was a frustrating, yet enjoyable build/experience in the end.

Great price, but problems
The feed ramp sat too high to work with the 9mm uppers I had, PSA support never responded to my email so I replaced the ramp with a CMMG ramp and that fixed the problem. The trigger has an absurd amount of creep, going to replace it with an EPT at some point. Besides that can't complain, beats trying to convert a standard AR with a mag well block, good fit and finish.

Eh
I've spent well over 3k on psa parts and have always had great luck.

That being said, I'm not upset with psa in the slightest, but I do have many failure to feeds with this lower.

I've tried many kinds of magazines, the best ones tried are metalform and still have a failure to feed every 15th rd or so.

Pros:
Trigger feels fine.
No play when connected to upper.
Looks great.

Cons:
I have to slam the magazines in
I constantly get failure to feeds

I trust psa can resolve this issue.
