does this shoot 223 as well without making any changens?
Steinware on Jan 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but keep in mind that it is not recommended to use 5.56 ammo with a .223 chamber design.
with 5.56 bcg and chamber what problems can i run into shooting .223 hunting rounds?
Sam F on Mar 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: None. Technically speaking, 5.56 will have a higher pressure than 223. If you are going to be shooting factory 223 and/or 5.56 ammo, in your 5.56 barrel, you will be fine.
What’s the difference between the FREEDOM BCG and the PREMIUM BCG?

Nickel Boron
I love PSA's bolt carrier groups. I love them even more when they come in nickel boron. The run flawlessly through my AR platforms.

Feels like it's oiled when it's dry!
Smooth as glass right out of the box. First 120 rounds and not even a hint of a hang up.

Nice BCG and handle for my build.
Never ordered or bought a bcg before. This one looks better than most of the ones I see at twice the price. Can’t wait to try it out on my AR-15 build. Getting a charging handle along with it was a bonus.

Very happy with purchase
Got this kit for my PSA 18" ss fluted upper and they both worked great together. Shot 100 rounds today with no problems at all. Great product and price would buy again.

Worked great in my PSA 20 Upper
Blasted about 200 rounds with this set up. Broke it in with a new 20 inch upper married to a Bushmaster lower. A couple of early feed issues with steel but after about 30 rounds worked flawlessly. Lube her up with lots of oil and commence firing!

Overall satisfied
Biggest fault is that the staking job is weak so I'll probably restake it. Yeah there are some tooling marks which even though they're visible aren't really that rough. That's why it costs half as much as a name brand NiB BCG. It'll still always be better than a standard phosphate coated BCG which will surely be a hassle to clean. I'll definitely buy another one regardless.
