Gen2 6.5 Creedmoor BCG is designed with double ejectors in order to ensure flawless cycling. 9310 steel bolt assembly, nitride treated for durability. 8620 carrier, with a nitride treated gas key properly staked with grade 8 fasteners.

Will this BCG work in aero precision M5 upper?

BEST ANSWER: Function wise it should be GTG, since both the Aero and PSA PA10 GenII use "DPMS" style ... however since the .308AR has no Milspec... the foward assist may not line up.

I can't see that the barrel has anything to do with the bcg working or not. However, it works just fine in either of my Aero Precision M5 setups in both .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor uppers and lowers. I think that maybe you should get your setup head spaced and work from there. Don't see why (if you have a .308 bcg) you need a 6.5 Creedmoor bcg. The PSA bcg has dual extractors but I don't see the advantage over the bcg from my .308, they both work fine with either caliber.

Some 308 BCG will not work in 6.5 creedmore. I have a Nitride BCG I purchased from another site, and its now, after my purchase saying it will not work with 6.5 Creedmore. Make sure it will work and ask questions accordingly.

Will this work in a Smith & Wesson M&P 10 (308)?

BEST ANSWER: The answer is yes. Works just fine.
Unless you have made some oddball mods to the BCG or have a deformed M&P 10, the BCG is interchangeable between your .308 and your Creedmoor. I switched my BCG between them frequently until I bought this one.

Will this work well for .308 too? DPMS uses dual extractors for .308. Could this be an upgrade over the single extractor for the .308 as well?

FIXED MY FIRST 6.5 BUILD

Tried using 308 bolt but gun did not cycle well and destroyed ammo. GHANGED BOLT and gun runs flawlessly.

6.5 Creedmoor bcg

Works just like advertised, good product. Like all other high power black rifle parts it's way over priced. Had I known before my purchase that my .308 bcgs worked just as well as this one in my Creedmoor, I would thought twice about the purchase. But then again after dissing it, I have had no problem with it.
