With streamlined styling and improved function, the new and improved PSA PA10 is here.  The Gen2 model offers enhanced chambers and extraction. with a more modern appearance.

Precision machined from Forged 7075-T6 aluminum, these lowers are then Black anodize hardcoated to MIL-8625 Type 3 class 2.   With an AR-15 Enhanced Polished Trigger (EPT), and stock and grip options, the PSA PA10 allows the same configuration flexibility as enjoyed by the AR15, and is an ideal platform for the 308 cartridge.

The Gen2 PA10 receivers are functionally compatible with the Gen1 receivers, however we recommend matching Gen2 lowers to Gen2 uppers for best appearance.  There are external cosmetic differences when mixing gen1 and Gen2 upper and lower receivers that some may not find appealing.

The AR10 platform does not enjoy a common design between manufacturers, like the AR15.    As a result, there can and will be subtle differences in the parts kits of various manufacturers.  Some parts, like the fire control group, are shared with the AR15 platform to preserve the options for upgrading.  For best results, we recommend only using PSA PA10 parts with our uppers and lower receivers.  We do not recommend using other manufacturers parts in our products.

Does this have a mil spec buffer tube?
Fishboy180 on Apr 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, at least in terms of diameter. Mine works with mil-spec stocks.
Does this come with a magazine?
Austin A on Apr 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, mine did not. Since this lower is not caliber specific (it is marked "multi" on mine), you could use it with many different uppers, of different calibers. It would be hard to know which magazine you needed. This lower uses the "SR-25" series of magazines on Palmetto's website, not the Armalite type. Important to know when you are shopping for Magazines.
Can I get a pitnary rail on this upper?
Norman F on Jun 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, because this is a LOWER.
Does this come with take down and pivot pins?

Billy on Jul 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: All mil spec AR-10 parts will work on this lower.
Does this lower accept and function properly with PMAG 10 LR/SR magazines?
Run 5 on May 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely the PMAG 10 LR/SR is just great, the longer magazines seem to be in the way more..Now if I were subjected to firefights I might go 20's. Happy Holidays and thank Vets for their service

PSA Gen2 PA10 18
PSA Gen2 PA10 18" Midlength .308 WIN 1:10 Stainless Steel 15" M-lok Upper - with BCG and CH -516446791
BEST ANSWER: Hello Tracy,
I should start off by saying that I have no affiliation with PSA, other than simply being a customer. I had recently purchased a upper/lower combo similar to this one and I am very pleased! The accuracy that you get for the money is much better than I expected. You will not need to buy anything else than what you have listed here. However, I would recommend going with the 20” barrel. The reason for this is... 1. Gas collection with the mid-length system is better regulated to the bolt with a 20” barrel. 2. It also promotes better cycling. Assembly will be extremely easy either way. I hope this helps.
Is it stamped multi caliber or 308 or 7.62?
John M on Jul 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I just Checked this for you and It is stamped PA-10 Multi. I only use 308 and I have had No problems at all with this Lower.

Hubertus on Jun 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have the Gen 2 upper and lower in 6.5 creedmore, with the PMAG 10 LR/SR 308 Winchester magazine
Will this lower work with the 7.62 upper?

Will S&W M&P Ar-10 magazine work with this lower ?
I bought this lower & a PSA works well, but am looking for a metal magazine rather than a polymer one..
JOE on Jul 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I can't speak for that specific magazine personally but I have some metal 308 mags that fit nicely, despite reading somewhere that PMags are recommended for the platform.
Do these accept standard ar 10 magazines?
Shane R on Oct 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: There is no such thing as standard in the AR10 platform, unlike the ar15 mil speck.....the short answer is yes it takes standard SR25 ar10 mags.......
Is this a “DPMS pattern” lower?
Micah on Jun 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes it is.
Is there any reason to install a enhanced polished control group since it has a polished trigger?
Waterguy303 on Oct 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The trigger they supplied is good, but I put a geissele trigger in mine. And I also put in a heavier buffer .
Can I put a different buffer in this (one for an ar15 or does it need to be ar10 specific.)? You say a standard heavy carbine buffer, standard would mean ar15 correct?
Zack B on Jul 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: as a general rule mil spec 10 and 15 are pretty much the same buffer . BUT IN an upgrade i would higlt suggest a 10 specific . there is a big difference in the ammo // blow back // recoil etc

The PA10 lower is a great value and it looks and functions perfectly. The EPT feels great, just about perfect for a hunting rifle. I purchased the 20” upper assembly to complete the rifle and couldn’t be happier. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to build a 308 AR. Looking forward to trying it out this deer season.

Excellent Quality at a bargain price
I purchased this lower along with PSA's SS complete 18" upper (see my review of that upper). My FFL is a retired Col. who not only does transfers but an extensive amount of gunsmithing. He knows firearms inside and out. When this PSA lower came in he sent me a message and noted that it is excellent quality. He does not say such things unless they are the case. Even the mil spec. trigger (which I figured would be the first thing I toss) is so good that there is no reason not to keep it.

Very impressed.
I was a little skeptical about ordering a firearm online, but I'm very pleased. I matched this lower with a .308 20" upper and it's a great rifle. I love the over molded rubber grip and the stock doesn't have too much play in it. My only complaint is the buffer spring is a little noisy but it's not horrible. It has a lifetime warranty, it's reasonably priced, and it's American made how could you go wrong?
