What is the weight of this rifle (PSA GEN3 PA65 20” 6.5 Creedmore Lightweight) ?
Cap-N-Red on Sep 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I held one at a local gun show - couldn't tell you the exact weight but I was very impressed. Super light compared to my m5e1 .308 18"
Have read a few reviews that people are having problems seating Magpul gen 3 magazines. Is there a problem with all gen 3 mags or just the 25 rounders?
David H on Sep 12, 2019
Is the lower on this a marked 6.5 Creedmoor Gen 3?
PJStudMuphin on Sep 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I bought the upper and lowers separately, but it is the same thing. The lower is marked as "G3-10 Multi," because it is an AR10 lower, and you can use 6.5 Creedmoor, 308. and probably other calibers. It's actually cheaper to buy the upper and lower separately.
Troublesome question.... If the Army is seriously considering the 6.8 cartridge, why is the civilian market devoting so much to the 6.5 ?
TC H on Sep 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This is 6.5 creedmoor not grendel. The 6.8spc is a shorter cartridge for the AR15. The 6.5 creedmoor is a harder hitting long range round.
What would be a good 5 round clip for this gun?
Ty F on Sep 29, 2019
BEST ANSWER: This gun does not take clips. You want to be searching for a good 5 round Magazine.
what is the diffance between a 2 stage trigger &PSA . EPT trigger?
charles f on Sep 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: EPT is just a coated (smoother) mil-spec trigger (single stage). 2 stage has a distinct take-up stage, and then a break stage.

My Expectation was blown away
Just purchase this rifle from PSA, attached a SWFA 10X42 scope on it. For ammo I loaded some Hornady Match 6.5 Creedmoor 147gr ELD. I was expecting to do a lot of adjustment on the gas block since I load on the middle side of the loading data which I used for my bolt gun. To my surprise the rifle cycled and lock the bolt on the last round. With this ammo the gun was shooting sub MOA at a 100 yards.

1st impression - shoots staight and well put together. But mag issues
Took this to the range to day after picking it up at the FFL dealer at the end of last week.
Got a few rounds through it (had to manually load rounds - more on that in a minute).
Shot well, good group at 50yrds with only a few rounds through. Will update this when I can actually put some real rounds through it and stretch out distance.
Now the meat. Read this if you plan on using Magpul mags!:
At the range today and had issues with immediately with Magpul G3 mags not seating. :/
Got home and through the magic of the internet found a guy who had the same problem and found the issue being the 'over insertion stop' https://imgur.com/a/bL3uR
I spent a few minutes with sharp pocket knife and now have magazines that feed!! Moral - either use different mags or plan on shaving down Gen3 Magpuls.
