Can I screw my suppressor to front of this pistol or do I need to buy a different model?
R W on Mar 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You will need to purchase a 3/8”x24 to 1/2”x28 adapter most likely because most 22 LR suppressors are 1/2"x28.

How can you get the adapter for the threaded barrel?
Leon M on Mar 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Try Tactical Innovations, EWK Arms, or Hughes Precision. They all sell an adapter. I am leaning towards Tactical Innovations because they sell an adapter that can be installed/removed with an a 5/16 hex/allen wrench instead of the open wrench. Hughes Precision has the best looking thread protector and EWK makes one specifically for use with the SilencerCo Sparrow which is the can I will be running. Haven't decided yet though haha.

Is the gun picky about the type/brand of ammo? Having a not so good time with the Sig Mosquito.
Macross M on May 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: My mosquito will not run Winchester at all. This little S&W will eat it up. In the future I will not use Winchester just because it is so dirty it took extra time to clean my gun. I have found both the S&W and Mosquito love Remington thunderbolt.
When will these be back in stock?

Does it come with the option to have a non threaded barrel ?
John D on Mar 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: You do not have to buy the adapter so in essence you will have a non threaded hand gun as the threading is inside the slide. Only model 10199 has the threading of the barrel outside the slide.

Great Gun
Great gun and for the price cannot be beat. I tried all kinds of ammo through mine and it ate everything. Even cheap Winchester .22 that will not cycle in any of my other .22s. One word of caution. After the gun has been cleaned and you fire your first 1 or 2 magazines to get it on target, take the slide off and put some loctite on the elevation screw. This came loose for me and I have read many reviews where this is a problem. Once that is done the gun is solid.

Awesome little gun
Ive had mine for about three years now. Five magazines. This gun is so much fun to shoot. I take it with me every trip to the range. Get one. You won't be sorry.

Great Little gun
Especially for the price! So far only complaint is its too light, I am fairly old school and like heft. But truly not complaining, great for the pocket around the farm or camping. I've lost count of the ammo type and round count over the past few months. ZERO failures to feed! pretty accurate. Rear sight adjusted itself one time really high? Light dab of blue loc tite and shes good to go.

And as usual Palmetto Armory's great service, the best price and free fast shipping!

Just go ahead and buy it!!!!!!!!
Great gun 3500 through and not one failure which is impressive. Eats any ammo ive shot every brand through this thing easy to clean just all around amazing .22 pistol feels great in the hand as well.
One small con the rear sight blade will fly off so put some red lock tite in the allen hole ONCE you have it sighted in and it will never come out again.
Also dawson makes great aftermarket sights for this suppressed height as well as non.

I've owned one for a little over a year now and must say it's one of my favorite .22 semi's of all time. I've got a total of 5 and this one ALWAYS gets to go to the range.

You won't be sorry.
One of the best if not the best 22 out there. I've had mine for years now. I never get tired of shooting it. Easy to break down and clean. Once in a while I can even make the little red circle In the middle of the target go away at 7 yards. Not bad for 70 year old eyes. My wife says i can't have another one.

Great 22 pistol! My favorite!
This gun is easy to rack and shoot for anyone with weak hands due to arthritis or any any issues. I have a disease that causes muscle wasting and no amount of working out can improve my strength. This gun gave me options and Is fun to shoot! My only gripe is I don't have a dozen mags to load up before going to the range. I will definitely be buying 8 more when I can. Very dependable reliable shooter with quality ammo. So far I have had no failures of any kind using CCI of all types.

Great little .22
I've had this gun since late July of 2015 and have enjoyed the better part of 800 rounds through it since then. First - I paid $270 plus shipping from PSA and that was the best price I found anywhere. This is really a fantastic gun. I've tried several semi-auto .22's that have been based on other "fighting" pistols and this one is by far the best. Great SAO trigger fits the hand very well very accurate with good sights and very reliable. By comparison this particular M&P22 Compact had no break in time whatsoever and the only feeding/ejection issues I've experienced have been with bare-lead Federal Auto Match (which has caused problems in every .22 except for the bolt-action rifle). My Dad's Sig Mosquito was nothing but problems for the first 500 rounds at least and required a good polish on the feed ramp before it would reliably function - and that pistol was substantially more expensive than this one.

I initially purchased this pistol to be a cheaper training aid with my M&P Shield but it has become one of my favorite pistols in the safe and the only one that I take to the range every single time I go. It is very fun easy to operate and ammo is cheap; a perfect combination for 5 stars. I'd recommend that anyone who is in the market for a .22 version of a "fighting" pistol give this one a shot.

Nice little pistol
Just picked one up this weekend to go with the M&P Shield 9mm that the wife shoots. Got a great price from PSA shipped to my dealer. The kids like to shoot too but the 9mm is a little much for the 9 year old and the 14 year old goes through 9mm ammo too fast $$$! I stripped it down and made sure it was oiled up and we took it out. It was pretty accurate right out of the box. I'd say between 3 of us we put 400+ rounds thru it and we all enjoyed shooting it. Fits all our hands fine. The 9 year old loves it. He can control it very well especially compared to the 9mm which he has shot but does not like. Had a couple misfeeds and one misfire but that might have been due to the age of the ammo. Next box is brand new so that may help. One complaint is the length of the trigger pull. A good bit of slack to take up before you get to the break. Other than that pull is nice and smooth.

Outstanding value!
Very well built pistol and shoots great. Even though it is a compact frame it fits my big hands comfortably as well as my wife's hands which are small with short fingers. I would recommend this weapon to anyone. Also thanks to Palmetto for the excellent service and fast shipping.
