Sawyer Permethrin is a highly effective insect and tick repellent designed for use on clothing, tents, sleeping bags and other outdoor gear. This powerful formula repels or kills disease-spreading ticks, including those that carry Lyme disease, mosquitoes that transmit West Nile and Zika viruses and more than 55 other types of insects. Perfect for camping, backpacking, hunting, travel, backyard BBQs and picnics, it adds an odorless layer of protection to your outdoor gear such as shirts, jackets, pants, socks, shoes, sleeping bags, tents and netting. Formulated not to stain or damage your clothing, fabrics or gear, Sawyer Permethrin becomes odorless once dry and provides the same level of protection as 100% DEET. To apply, simply spray the Permethrin directly onto your gear with a slow, sweeping motion, keeping the bottle about 6 to 8 inches away. Treat each side of the garment for about 30 sec. Once applied, the spray bonds to fabric fibers and provides up to 6 weeks (42 days) of protection, even with exposure to sun and air or up to 6 washings.
