Best 1911 for the money out there
I bought my Sig 1911 Tacops a few years back and have really been enjoying it. I did a lot of research before buying this particular model and it has exceeded all my expectations. Sig Sauer has really stepped up it's 1911 game and these pistols have no plastic or MIM (metal injected molded) parts. The slide is as smooth as glass and the tolerances are just right for excellent precision and reliability (not too lose not too tight). Throw stainless steel night sights and great fit and finish into the mix and this pistol is a bargain. The other reviewer is right about the limited holster availability however. I found Triple K offers a good leather sportsman holster for this model for non-tactical guys like me. Also remember to snug down the Allan screws on the handle and sights when cleaning. I would give this pistol 6 stars if I could.

Awesome deal great gun
After really shopping around for months for a 1911 in the $1000-$1300 price range searching for the features I wanted in a package paired with outstanding reviews this is what I found. And I couldn't be happier. Something the website doesn't state is this gun come with a total of FOUR mags more than you will find with any other 1911 off the shelf which was a big deal to me as I normally buy 2-3 extra mags with every handgun purchase I make. The fit and finish on the gun is absolutely top notch flawless finish and the absolute best frame to slide fit I've ever had on a semi-auto. Night sights are very bright. The fully adjustable trigger is skeletonized; although it isn't shown.
As far as performance: A+ With approx 800 (maybe more) rounds thru it of just about every brand of ammo available from FMJ Blazer to steel-cased Tula to the highest quality HP's you can find I have not had one single hiccup to date!! This gun has eaten and spit out every round without any hang ups. It quickly became my favorite gun after just 4 months of having it.

**The only drawback to this bad@$$ firearm is finding a holster to fit it. This is due to Sig's slide design. Sig changed the shape of the top of the slide. The 1911 platform since the dawn of time has a rounded top to it that every manufacturer keeps consistent which allows any brand 1911 to fit any holster. Sig squared off the top a little more so the sides of the slide are taller before rounding off. I noticed it right away but didn't think about holster fit until I went to buy a molded one. They simply don't fit. Sig does make a molded plastic holster that you can get on Amazon for about $20 that fits it like a glove and comes in two different styles. One says 1911 down the side of it and the other says Sig down the side. Any type of "sleeve" will still work like the Sticky brand IWB (which I own as well as the molded Sig and between the 2 I'm covered for every carry situation fine). So just beware. This goes for the molded leather holsters as well. Even if it says "1911 government railed any brand" it won't work.
This overall is a relatively small setback taking everything into consideration with this amazing firearm and would NOT stop me from buying another Sig 1911 which I plan on shortly :)
