The primer plant isnt done yet. And for the start primers are not going to be sold until they catch up with ammo demand.

How’s 7.62x39 tooling and production coming along?
Unrelated: when I win the Christmas giveaway GF5, can it be bundled with a pallet of 7.62x39?

Steel case will be 2023. They have various 9mm, 5.56, and 300blk running now. 5.7 is due up in January. Steel maybe late spring/early summer. All that depends on supply lines, the primer plant getting finished, etc.

Any word on Hot (ish) 5.7 loads? I’d love to see an ss198lf equivalent that didn’t cost a boatload.

I have a question on the FPS measure for AAC Ammo: What is the barrel length for:
300 BLK
5.56x45
Other rifle when available…
For instance, AAC 300 Blackout Ammo 110 Grain V-Max says 2325fps, but it doesn’t say what barrel length it was measured from. Most manufacturers don’t specify the length either, but (when questioned) say it was from a 24" barrel – for rifle ammo of course.
I know it would be best to have a chronograph for my rifles, but that’s not alway convenient or possible.

I’m guessing the MV is based on 24" for the 5.56. Those are pretty nice videos - getting velocities for 6 barrel lengths is very helpful.

PSA is advertising 300 BLK with a JAG headstamp. Any ideas what this is about?
Also, there was some ammo they talked about at the gun show last month – I think it was the “Saber” line. It sounded really interesting, and I’m wondering how soon to expect it (maybe it already has released?)?
@nvpurk JAG (Jagemann) is considered one of the best brass makers in the ammo community. Their parent company is Ammo, Inc. PSA sells a lot of Ammo, Inc. Ammo. PSA must have bought a bunch of their already made brass to help speed up production.
