Does anyone have an opinion on an ar grip for larger hands? I found a magpul xl grip I’m using on my first build and it feels good. So good I’ll prob change out the grip on my dd.
The dd grips suck when your hand is sweaty………terrible design.

I have two PSA Magpul lowers, one regular, one came with the rubberized coating (MOE+). I like both, just hope the rubber doesn’t turn into goo as it ages.
Anyway my hands are big too. Whatever came standard size wise on Mag pul fits my hand good. Military issue (Colt) M-16’s fit my hand about the same. Never really gave it a thought.
On a side note, my S&W M&P 2.0 full size .45 came with 4 different palm swells. I like the smallest one that came with it, because I can wrap my grip hand fingers all the way around it. It gives me better control, and there’s no chance in hell someone is going to wrestle it out of my hand. Well maybe Mr. Incredible could. ![]()
That’s just my opinion, other folks have their preferences.
I have decent size hands and prefer the B5 Type 23 grip. The angle is better and its stipling is great in wet conditions.
i concur abou tthe b5 type 23 (also known as the Umbrella Corp Grip) mostly i like it because the angle of it is the most like a 1911 angle that i’ve found yet on grips.
magpul makes one similar angle, i think of the k series, but its just ok, not quite as good as the b5’s/UCWRG grip.
I have large hands. (xxl glove size). I’m a fan of the BCM mod 3 grip. Worth a look.
I believe that i’ve used the BCM mod 3 before, and i like it… i like many of the bcm grips honestly.
