Good morning y’all and happy Friday. Another beautiful day here in SE Texas. This is County Fair weekend and my wife and I are judges for the non-livestock show every year. It’s so cool being able to talk to the kids about their projects and encouraging them to succeed. We look forward to it every year.

Good morning all. Sitting here enjoying my 1 cup of coffee I’m allowed to have once a week. (When the wife leaves for work, I’ll sneak a 2nd cup) 
After that I’ll clean up outside, take grass to the compost pile in town. Maybe stop by Joann’s Fabrics and pick up some Kevlar to stich some bullet proof vests for our two sweet little dogs.
Weeding…something I loathe doing. If it was up to me I would burn my whole lawn remove all the bushes so I can have clear fields of fire.
BUT
The Executive likes a manicured lawn and pretty flowers. It shows I am a team player.
Me and the wife are opposite. She would cut, trim, pull, remove, yank, stomp, grind, poison ANYTHING that grows besides basic grass.
In one year, half our trees are gone and she’d have the rest cut down if it was up to her.
I’m not into all that yard and gardening stuff at all. But I do feel a few bushes or flowers here or there is nice. But I’m thankfull because it makes less up keep for me.
