If you really want to get in to what I believe, forcing workers to go back to work on the railway after they strike against psr and for sick leave, and only being able to do so after they are threatened with felony charges is insane to me. This, combined with the generally unsafe working conditions brought about by psr, such as lowering crew requirements (mainly in number) and essentially mandating longer trains with less (but âprecisely scheduledâ) maintenance, makes it astounding that this hasnât been happening more often, imo.
Heck, if you really want to get into it, psr is all about maximizing profit for the railway companies and their shareholders. Go ahead and look into the shareholders of NS, for example. A good chunk of those companies, such as Black Rock, lobby politicians that were in favor of psr and were, in some cases, instrumental in its construction.
This whole thing was designed for profit, extracted at the expense of our safety and the health of future generations. I donât think the individual incidents are planned, but I do think that they are, overall, working as intended. They want nothing more than to see their bank account full, with your country scraped of all its worth.
