What’s everyone’s favorite Java? I’ve been on a Costa Rican kick lately. I’ve done everything but roast my own beans. I prefer a slightly courser grind also, which is how I have my grinder set. 20oz of black (no creme, no sugar) coffee in the morning starts the day off right.
usually, a Sumatran reserve which is a strong dark coffee. no cream, no sugar just coffee.
and no starbucks, dunkin or any of the other fancy places.
I drink a pot of foldgers everyday
Black
I refuse to visit Starbucks. Although I do like DD’s donuts (but Krispy Kreme is better).
Pfaff’s donuts Pontiac, IL. The best.
Take a Route 66 road trip and stop in.
I drink black coffee of whatever bean variety I can find. There is a local dude who has turned in to my bean dealer.
Nice
Hot, strong, and black.
I only drink Community me.
I like Eight O’Clock coffee. Fresh ground beans. Good stuff for the money… And black is the only way to drink coffee.
Same. Breakfast blend
The Folgers Black Silk is a good one, especially if you can find the beans and grind it yourself.
I drink coffee…Black only. I do not discriminate, I appreciate all brands as long as it is black and caffeinated.
Same
I switch brands like I switch socks and beer
I have drank coffee since I was about 5 or 6 years old. When we went to my Grandma’s house they lived in a farmhouse that my Grandad built in 1935. Across the road was my Great Grandad’s (small, rural) dairy farm. They had about 70 dairy cows. They would be let out of the pasture early in the morning and walk down the road to graze in the woods along side a small creek. We would have coffee with my Granddad in the morning while watching the cows go past. That was around 1964-70 time frame. All good memories.
not really a coffee drinker, but if i do,it usually has to be waffle house coffee in the middle of the night.

Although I grew up around coffee drinkers (Mom & Dad), I never started drinking until my early twenties. I had access to a school building’s break room with an old 50-cup brewer that was used during the day by the Professors and Staff. It was never turned off, and there was always a cup or two of 15- to 20-hour old hot coffee. Adding plenty of powdered creamer and sugar, I would drink a little every night. Thinking about it now makes me throw up a little in my mouth, but it did take me down the road to coffee addiction. I studied coffee for a while and was seriously thinking of becoming an importer, but my patience of governmental regulations wore thin and I went down a difference road. Nowadays, I just drink the cheap Kirkland blend brewed in my reusable K Cup. My daughter now works as a barista at a local Starbucks and brings home amazing stuff that we get to try (rarely coffee). Hope I don’t get addicted; otherwise, I won’t have money for guns.
100% columbian is what I do, little more boldness to it I think than some of the others.
Community special blend.
