I’ll probably punch it out and use the pusher to get the new one in @GuitarGuy
Laughed at myself this morning when I saw that I had posted the ones I bought not 2 posts prior to @Jammo ‘s post. Bad on me for not scrolling up to get context.

Mine is out for delivery today @GamecockOperator
awesome!! i bet you’re excited!
Yes sir @GamecockOperator
Getting ready to try it out now just to get a feel for it so I don’t break it ![]()
Not sure what the directions state. I put some gun oil on the sight pusher threads. Though mine is different. If the sight binds going in I backed off the pusher (let the sight center itself) the was able to push the sight in.
Thanks @AZ_Joe
I did read about needing to apply oil first.
Sounds like slow and steady is the way to go ![]()
Lil Dandy soldering iron may be needed as well.
What why @Rufus
Blue loctite not enough?
Most of the early Daggers they used red locktite.
Mine are the earliest ones @Rufus
I’m pretty sure my soldering iron is in storage.
One reason I’m replacing the sights is because the rear has actually moved, so I’ll think positive for now ![]()
Thanks for the reminder though!
Just go slow and watch the ears of the pusher.
10-4 thanks for the advice @GuitarGuy
If it moved your likely golden.
Yes sir ![]()
Old sights removed easily being that the rear had already started moving.
Now I’m waiting on WM to deliver my blue loctite so I can finish installing the new ones.
Gotta love wizard eyes
nicely done!
