Ameriglow Sights For Rock 5.7

Do any of you have/use these sights on your Rock 5.7 and what do you think of them?

Good question and something I am curious about as well.

If I’m not mistaken @GuitarGuy may

Thats not the same ones i have.

Not to sway you away and there is nothing wrong with those sights… But, you can save 15 bucks on these.

So I’m new to the Rock (had mine about 2 weeks) and have a dumb question. Does it accept regular Glock sites? I mean I have several Daggers and know those do (not that I’ve modified any). I assumed the 5.7 Rock does as well, but I’m not really a Glock guy…or a 5.7 guy until now.
I posted in another thread, but my Rock sights are So FAR off target it’s ridiculous. Like 5" at 60’.
I put an optic on it (Holoson 407k green dot) which I had ordered intending to use on this gun, and that solved the target issue, but man those iron sights are off. I ordered my 5.7 with optic cut and it has the taller co-witness sights and to hit a target (5" steel) you have to aim about the middle of the front sight for proper elevation. (and it’s off to the left as well). I can fix the windage, but the elevation is FUBAR. I bought a budget sight adjustment tool (NCstar on sale for $59 at Midway) and it arrived yesterday and I am very happy with it - much more than I expected for the money.
Anyway, I’m guessing I can order some new sights or maybe just sand down the front sight. Not like I can ruin them since they are worthless as is.
Anyone got thoughts on this?

Yes, glock sights

Specifically Glock 19 sites. The PSA sites for the Dagger work for the Rock as well. I got

Fully functional, I just would prefer FO tritiums.

Thank you. I figured as much, but nice to have the follow up thanks

Absolute co-witness with that Holosun.

I have the second Rock coming together it’s a RK-1 no suppressor or dot, like to
go low profile night sights but having trouble drifting out the OEM rear sight …
any trick to that?

I took a Little Dandy Soldering iron and added a liotle heat from the bottom and usdd a Wheeler sight pusher with a little oomph. I’ve heard NCStar pusher works as well.

My vice and drift pin didnt budge it, It’s a sniper green so worried might burn…
but there’s not a screw holding the rear I assume.

did you see any thread lock residue?

The suppressor height sights don’t have have a screw, but the white dot sights do have a set screw holding the rear sight in. I use the NCStar sight pusher and it’s difficult. My hands are raw after using it. (The handle is very thin) It helps to use the slide as an extended prybar and hold the actual handle still.

No thread lock residue on standard or suppressor sights.

Someone else on the forum noticed that. They found the exact height the front sight post needs to be and linked the replacement. Not sure which thread that was in.

Here it is, bottom post on this thread, but the whole thread will probably be useful.

A little. I didnt go crazy with the soldering iron.

Mine did, TruGlo though

@dblshock if there’s a hole, there’s likely a setscrew in it.

I just ordered the Trijicon GL01 low profile night sights at half the hgt. of the Ameriglo suppresser hgt. that’s on the RK-1 now. …is it vice or vise? anyway that’s what I have and a solder iron heat and a hammer…and if I make a mess of it I want that new stainless slide for a replacement.

A vise is a tool, a vice is a problem.
