Good looking out. Gonna have to hold off until I can get it solo.
I wonder how the cuts will affect it with a suppressor. I know buffman was saying the slide was pretty hefty in comparison to the others out there.

The link posted is to the standard ( not Raptor ) slide cut for optics with barrel.
Slide in the link has the lightening cuts vs. a standard slide.

I didn’t notice the lightening cuts and the Ameriglow 1/3 height co-witness sights. Really great additions to the standard optics ready slide.

I purchased the Rock 5.7 Xmas special this past Tuesday, which includes the mounted 407K red dot for $599. While salivating over and checking status on my new acquisition last night on the PSA site, I stumbled across the RK1 slide with threaded barrel. Had no idea this slide just dropped and was scratching my head why I hadn’t seen it before. Also, noticed the Rock 5.7 Xmas special for a complete gun with the RK1 slide and threaded barrel for $599. More importantly, on further investigation, I realized I could separately purchase the Rock frame, mags, and the RK1 slide at a total price below the Xmas special. As my initial purchase hadn’t shipped, I contacted PSA customer service this morning to cancel that order. For the new order, with the $ saved buying the Rock frame, 2 mags, and RK1 slide with threaded barrel, I upgraded the optic to a 407K green dot. I was so damn proud of myself, I threw in a Dagger as well. Explaining this tremendous accomplishment to the Wife tonight, she pointed out I spent more than I initially intended. She obviously failed to see the genius in my latest purchase. Regardless, I am new to PSA. They’re an awesome 2A manufacturer and seller, and their customer service was extremely responsive, in my case. I have a feeling this is the beginning of a very long-term relationship. Not sure how pleased the Wife will be about that, but…

See, you did good, but you tripped yourself up throwing in a whole dagger. They have been running a sale on the 5.7 frame WITH a dagger frame for 180. Better call 'em back tomorrow.

Remember, since you have to mount your 407 yourself, don’t forget to measure and shorten the mounting screws or you may damage the striker housing. See the posts regarding this issue.

Just went through the post you recommended. Thank you! Your unsolicited guidance on this is very much appreciated. Seriously, upon arrival, I would have slapped the optic on the Rock slide with no consideration or knowledge of the issues it could have caused. Again, thank you.
