Credova

Stay away from Credova unless you are absolutely desperate. Just finished paying off a gun under the 90 day promotional loan. I paid it off in full in 28 days - it took 19 days to close out the account.
I was interested in another purchase, so I went through the steps to and got to the “loan” contract. Needless to say, this time it was not a loan, but rather a lease agreement. All in all, a $1,100 purchase would end up costing approximately $2,400 if it went full term. If I paid it off within the first 90 days, I would need to pay an additional $171 to close the account. BE WARE!!! Do your own research, as this company is practicing in a gray area.

You are not the first person I have read discovering they have Predatory Lending practices. Not just with firearms, either.

I have used credova 2 times and never had a issue. I paid the guns off within 30 days and was only charged 4 or 5 bucks in interest.

Credova sucks ass!!! I purchased an Upper from PSA using credova coz i thought i would be financing it for 90 days with zero interest turns out it was a lease for 12 mos. for some dollar amount that would end up me costing 2x from its original price if I finish the contract, so I called them and told me that I did not qualify for the terms ( my credit score is 715-720) not a bad score. So I ended up paying the full amount after a week so that I wont incur any interest… THEY ARE SCAM, BEWARE!!! You’ve been warned!

Hello……trying to make my first PSA purchase……apparently, PSA does not want my money! The PSA website says that there’s an issue with Credova financing not showing on their web pages. I try to contact Customer Service via chat as instructed, the page says to select the reason for the Chat request, and if the correct reason for the chat isn’t in their drop down box, then I will not receive any answers from PSA CS. Well, as you might guess….there’s no Credova choice in the CS drop box! Called the main CS phone line, the recording said 1.5 hr. wait. Geez……I want to give you guys my money, apparently PSA doesn’t need it. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Regards, Mark.

There were issues using credova (not on the PSA side but the Credova side) so PSA has removed it as an option (as i understand it). I think @SuperPredator can speak better of the situation.

It’s been a minute since a post on this apparently but was curious if there was an update on credova coming back? Every other firearms place seems to still have it and Ive used it here before but I saw they said there was some kind of issue.

I see the warnings people are giving but in my experience it has been just fine, you can pay it off whenever, and they tell you the contract deal and what your total will be if you just do the monthly. For me it was $50 more from the original purchase if I don’t pay it off sooner than the 12 months.

All that to say, it’s not an issue to me if you understand it’s essentially like paying with a credit card with interest after the initial 90 days.

Do you guys know if you’ll reintroduce Credova as a purchase option?

Any update on credova coming back? @sean.psa

Nope! Is not financing but is a lease that will cost you 100% more that the purchase price.

If PSA has gotten rid of that scam then MAJOR plus to PSA. !!!
That bunch is a running sore level blemish on the awesome PSA reputation.

Can you tell me how to get the financing option? It showed up one time yesterday before my phone died & now I doesn’t show up anymore

I’ve never had a problem with them. Just pay cash then. If you use a credit card, average 24% with the fed interest rates now. Either way. I’ve used credova 9 times in 2 years. I pay mine off in a few months. I only order from primary arms now because PSA don’t have credova anymore. That’s a shame. PSA has lost at least $14,000 in the past year while primary arms has gotten it. Oh well, PSA loss. The people complaining are people with poor credit score which is why they are complaining. Me with $150k year income and credit score at 800 I end up paying about $30 in interest for every $1000 leased. PSA quality isn’t that great anyway, so buying from primary arms I can get zestava, BCM, and must better selection and not wait a year to ship a firearm or deal with the idiots in the PSA store and spending an hour waiting for someone to go find my firearm I ordered. Primary arms and my local FFL have saved me from the headaches at PSA.

You make $150k a year and use credova? Sorry, but LOL. Additonally, it seems every post you have made on here is just to crap on PSA. Whats up with that? If you dont like their products, why are you here?

As far as the CH 7075 / 6061 question on the other thread I’d be happy to discuss some of the reasons why that is done. Have you priced 6061 and 7075 lately? Granted it’s been a minute for me…
I agree with @GuitarGuy on your apparent seagull approach.

Fourteen-Thousand Whole Doll-Hairs? That’s Amazing!

I just use my Bass Pro/Cabela’s Black Card, and pay it off at the end of the month…
