I sure wish we could run a decent candidate against him. I cant figure out why Greenville loves him so much.
I think itās two major reasons.
1: He has money and his primary opponents do not. Their message is not presented to the public.
2: The average dumb voter, Republican or Democrat, is too lazy or disinterested to do their own homework and research candidates.
Yep, I get the same canned response from him every time I send an e-mail. He claims to be continuing the War on Terror, standing up for SC, blah, blah, blahā¦
It sometimes feels like Iām peeing in the ocean to fill it up, but I continue to pester him.
I think more than anything it is the Strom Thurmond effect. He has been there so long now why should we change anything. Heās also got the perfect political backstory of raising his sister after his parents passed away. A blemish on his upstate love is the fact that he is a Coot.

Traitors, everyone of them. If Blunt was up for re-election this year I guarantee his would have been a no vote. Heās just another swamp critter now.
I believe most politicians DO NOT care about their constituents views. they say or do anything to get into office. look how many of the made a career out of public service, and millions in shady deals.
I think that 4 of the Rinoās are retiring or have been primaried and another 6 or so are not up for re-election. So essentially, they donāt give a damn.
I hope the guns rights groups are closely following this and have their lawyers readying a case that should be heard by the Supreme Court. It looks to me like a direct attack on our constitutional rights.
But they want to make things more difficult to defend yourself if you are a responsible, legal gun owner

Quite a few significant rulings due to drop from the Supreme Court before they adjourn. Could signal significant directional changes in many states and in the country as a whole. They seem to have held the most contentious ones to the end, presumably so they can go into hiding as all hell breaks loose.
