If you subvert the language rules there will be consequences…warnings, bans, and potential closure of the thread. Past warnings were ignored and that wont happen this time.
IMO-What is the hold up with SCOTUS decision with some rulings? Are they waiting for a long weekend like July 4th coming up? What is the hold up with identifying the Roe vs Wade opinion leaker? How many clerks have access to the Justices and what is DoJ doing about providing security for the Supremes? It just looks like a lot of chaos and mayhem intimidating the Supremes.
I didn’t think the Supremes would be so easily intimidating.
I’m pretty sure the SCJs are getting their get-out-of town plans ready before dropping the most controversial items. I don’t blame them. Look at the hysteria already happening with the rumored overturning in the works. Imagine if it actually does…
The left has no interest in protecting SCOTUS, well, at least the conservative Justices. Since 2020, all they have had is threats and intimidation to lean on.
It would make sense to wait for a weekend to announce their decisions as then the Justices could escape to safety before the REEEEE crowd tried to lynch them. Oh, wait a second, that’s officially illegal now.
Possibly preparing for the protests, riots and threats that their decisions will bring. I don’t think the Supremes are intimidated, but with the way the DOJ has refused to do their job they have to be prepared.
Kinzinger is like an old door that’s been slammed a few thousand too many times. Just ain’t right and there’s no fixing it.
Our whole political system needs an enema. Put in term limits, no more lifetime benefits. Make politics a public service again not a career path. Remove the D’s and R’s on ballots and force people to be INFORMED voters.
I personally am curious about the rulings the supreme court are about to pass down about the abortion stuff, and any about the firearms that they were ruling on. I’m not sure what the hold up is except they dont wanna release it now before the elections in november or maybe they’re waiting till its closer to november to be more political and have more influence on the elections? who knows. Im surprised they arent ready especially with the one on abortion since they had that draft leak already months ago. When they do release it, mark my words itll be late on a friday of a three day weekend so the news cycle rolls to something else, and i wouldnt be surprised if theres another mass shooting or something in ukraine that is driving the news harder than what they release at the court to take the attention off their rulings. the government plays games like that way too often.

and that is a very true statement. believe it or not we talk a lot for four mods and we rarely have negative to say about anyone here and that is refreshing because when you look at other forums they really have some problem children that ruin it for everyone. on the other forums i’ve moderated its never been this good of a group of folks… im proud of the group we have and the forum here we’ve all contributed to making… lets keep it up and be the exception to the rule.

i agree… but i’d also add, remove /outlaw, lobbyists. I dont think itll ever happen though… especially not the term limits… not unless its somethign the states can force through… but i doubt the states can get together enough to force it through.

This is the text of an email that I just sent to Lindsey Graham. I’m sure it will serve no other purpose than to let me vent a bit, but in four years I will once again vote against him in the primaries, probably to no result.
