I’ve seen the darkness and don’t like it.

My witness and testimony;
Some 43 years ago when l ETS from the Army and came home to my wife and 2 year old daughter, searching for civilian work, running out of funds and down to our last beans. A Twinkie commercial came on breaking the sponge cake in half exposing the cream filling my little girl said “l wish we had one so bad”
I went upstairs got on my knees tears rolling and earnestly sought the Lord. The most brilliant light (eyes closed) pierced my soul during prayer…l trembled with Godly fear and yet sense of peace followed shortly after.
I laid my burden down.
A hour or two later a knock on the door with two gentlemen holding bags of groceries and in one of those bag’s a BOX of Twinkies!!! A week later God found me work! Glory be to God!

These were like gold back in the day of Army basic on bivouac.
Awww brother now l want a box! It was like sweet Manna in a box that evening and from that day forward l never looked at a Twinkie the same!
My gf follows Cokesbury church from Knoxville, Tennessee his sermon the last two weeks has left me in tears. Sunday he specifically mentions Manna.

The Lord seems to no longer take a direct hand in what we do on this mudsplat - Fire, Brimstone, Directed Frog/Locust Plagues, Heavy-Duty Smotings from an Angry Fist, etc - but I believe he still influences various actions of His Servants to do His Will, because it is His Plan.
