Turns out his license was restored back in 22 but the information was never updated in the state system. Man spent 2 days in jail for a clerical error.

Turns out this guy is a bonified idiot. The story is so convoluted that I don’t quite understand it. I don’t think he actually had a driver’s license to begin with? Either way, he is a Darwin candidate.

Dad was trying to protect his daughter but shooting the guy was wrong.
According to the article, daughter called dad after the prank was done and over. She got some sort of gel on her from being shot with a gel gun. Dad showed up with a pistol after the kids were in a car. Dad shoots into the car. There was no protecting his daughter, and unless the kid in the car pointed the gel gun at him, dad was just an angry idiot who shot a teenager without cause. I’m a “play stupid games, win stupid prizes” believer, but absent more evidence to the contrary, dad was wrong.
