It turns out that his license was reinstated but the court never received the update. Also, his wife was experiencing a medical emergency.
I saw that and he spent 2 days in jail

Sucks for him. I think his lawyer wasn’t ready and that’s why she asked for a four week adjournment.
What a moron 
I agree that court should be in person and rules should be enforced, especially accountability. The upside of digital court is the huge amount of these cases that make for funny Y.Tube content and occasional mainstream news. I don’t like the downside of making this individual infamous and just adding to the long list of celebrity screw ups.
Maybe news and society can focus on the less interesting but much more important accomplishments of people making society better, and not highlighting the ones contributing to the collapse.
Depends on how many layers deep you want to go. At face value it is just hilarious and instant satisfaction. Hopefully the importance of law and order will become popular again.
