I have recently purchase a Palmetto State AR. It is chambered in 556 and both the lower and upper have the Palmetto State emblem on them. I can find the serial number on the lower and can see Freedom on the barrel prior to the muzzle flash suppressor. I went online to see what price range the rifle may be in and found some models similar. However the price point was from $500 to $ 1300. I didn’t pay to much for it and its in mint condition, just looking to see how good of a deal I purchase. Thank you in advance

Freedom is PSA’s standard line. Those rifles, depending on trigger and furniture (and if it is a blem or not), can be had anywhere from $450 to about $650. Most used rifles sell for around 80% of original cost, a little higher if mint, lower if used. Just what I have observed on places like gunbroker and armslist.
@GamecockOperator may have a better grasp on that than me.

I bought my freedom rifle w/MLOK rail , MAGPUL MOE stock and MBUS back up sights for about 6 bucks/PSA. Of course it didn’t stop.
Had to spend on functional aesthetics. This should go on, “When does it stop.”

Thank you for the information. So I paid a fair price for the rifle. Can you or @GamecockOperator tell me what year an SCB serial number rifle was produced? Thanks again in advance. I tried to attach a picture of the AR.

@GamecockOperator is certainly the man on serial numbers. However, since PSA doesnt release their date range on anything but the meme lowers, its going to be hard to determine.

Your statement is yet further confirmation that I must live somewhere else. Used firearms I see around here can sometimes be had at the low low price of 97% of brand new. And the new gun prices ain’t so good, either. One place was selling some PSA rifles I’d just seen the day before on the site, and they were something like 275 over list price. I understand their rents are high. They don’t run a charity. But, neither do I!
