hopefully never…
What is the difference between the S and the L?
I think i know… so if im wrong, please someone who is in the know correct me.
The Dagger S = Glock 19x frame basically. short compact slide, longer hand grip, however the slide is a quarter or half inch longer than a standard dagger compact slide.
The Dagger L =. A glock 17. think the original Glock 9mm. totally done just like a standard glock 17 should be. in every way size wise.
hope that helps
Dagger S would be using a normal G19 sized slide from the Compact. The Compact X slides/barrels are G17 sized, but have an extension to the underside so it doesn’t have a gap with the G19 frame(also uses a G19 recoil spring). Like a Glock34’s slide fits on a G17 frame, while using a G17 spring as well.
Dagger L is indeed full size 17 in every way.
Compact X is technically G19L since that’s a standard now. Reason for that is a G17 Gen 3 barrel will NOT work in G19/L guns. G19 and G17 Gen 3 lugs are different. The only G17 barrels that will work in those are Gen5’s, since the Gen 5 barrels all use a G19G3 lug. My G34G5 barrel fits in my Dagger Compact.
TLDR
Dagger Compact - Glock 19 sized.
Dagger Compact X (slides/barrels) - G17 sized, but is G19L standard.
Dagger S - G19X/G45 clone. Short dust cover, long grip. Fits Dagger Compact/X slides.
Dagger L - G17 sized.
